AnaHadWolves and other Clinton supporters for McCain
Read this and then tell us you'll vote for McCain if Obama wins the nomination. I dare you!

McCain calls his wife the "c" word, in public!
As I've said before, get over yourselves!

The dwarf show
The tabloid level questions and infantile mentality of the moderators in ABC "debate" belonged in a Jerry Springer type show in which dwarfs with pierced eye lids wearing thongs and combat boots punch each other and throw little chairs at the audience.

gibson and the women
gibson is the darling of women viewers so it is obvious he was going to give clinton the edge here. isnt that what the women for clinton want and have been complaining about? but it backfired and she is the one looking stupid today. i listened to hannity radio today and he is crowing about the turn here, esp the patriotism issue. the right for me has become despicable. i confess i was a regular listener to rush and even renewed my subscription, but also cancelled it soon after. what is happening with the dems today. they/the clintons are using the same tactics and topics as the right is. if it is clinton vs mccain , my husband and i will not vote. it is more than just obama. the parties are begiining to represent the worst in american culture and i am getting mighty sick of it.

A "Whiff of Petulance"?
Walter:
I like nearly everything you write, but I've got to tell you that this article just plain sucks.
The problem with this "debate" had nothing to do with the candidates, and everything to do with Charlie "You Think I'm Credible But I'll Prove You Wrong" Gibson, and that former Clinton flak Stephanopolous.
The fact of the matter is that Barack Obama demonstrated what he so often displays: Grace under fire. Composure. Class.
He didn't "win" the debate by "not losing," he won the debate by "not losing it" in the face of the massive amounts of bullshit being shoveled by Clinton, Gibson, and Georgie Porgie.
After all, he would've been well within his rights to have asked Charlie, George AND Hillary "WHERE ARE YOUR FUCKING LAPEL PINS"? Or perhaps this: "What are you going to ask me next: 'Is BLACK my favorite color'"???
That stupid Weather Underground Guilt By Association question was spoon fed to Georgie by...SEAN (INS)HANNITY, and you think the candidates fizzled? Pull your head out of your MSM ass.

Don't read newspapers, Rebostar
According to legend:
Back in the day, way back, the editor of the Orlando Sentinel had decided, after careful consideration, to endorse Michael Dukakis for president. He felt this was what would be best for the people in Central Florida.
He got a call from Chicago, the Tribune Company, telling him that the Orlando Sentinel would be endorsing George Bush. The editor explained that he had already decided to endorse Dukakis, and gave all the reasons why. He was told that he would either endorse Bush or the new editor would, but the newspaper would not print an endorsement for Dukakis.
This has been going on for a very long time. It's just much more blatant now. Nearly all the mainstream media has become corporate media, as the big guys do whatever they can to extend their reach. TV, newpapers, radio stations, mostly owned by a few corporations with agendas that have nothing to do with what's best for us. Every Clear Channel radio station will endorse the same candidate. Every Tribune newspaper. Every ABC affiliate. And they will all phrase the endorsement in a way that appeals to the voters in their particular corner of the country.
Trust no one.

The umbrella, a few questions
I learned about Clinton's ideas about foreign policy in the middle east (the umbrella), which I had never heard before, and which is extremely important.
- What do we think of giving security guarantees to regimes with lousy human rights records?
- Who is going to pay for additional force commitments to a very large region?
- How many additional troops are needed and where we going to get them?
- What will our existing allies think of our increased influence?
- What will our non-allies (Russia, China, etc.) think of our increased influence?
- How do you convince the Arab street it's not all about the Oil?
- How do you convince us it's not all about the Oil?

But I can't call clinton supporters republicans?
"HANNITY: There are two questions that I don’t think anybody has asked Barack Obama, and I don’t know if this is going to be on your list tomorrow. One is – the only time he’s ever been asked about his association with Bill Ayers, the unrepentant terrorist from the Weather Underground who on 9/11 of all days in the New York Times was saying “I don’t regret setting bombs. I don’t think we did enough.” When asked about it by the Politico, David Axelrod said that they have a friendly relationship, and that they had done a number of speeches together and that they sat on a board together. Is that a question you might ask?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Well, I’m taking notes right now.
HANNITY: September 11, 2001 of all days, there was an article in the New York Times. And there are a number of quotes about Bill Ayers. The Politico had in there the comments from David Axelrod.
Listen here:
In the debate last night, Stephanopoulos asked a question that mirrored almost word-for-word what Hannity pressed him to ask:
STEPHANOPOULOS: A gentleman named William Ayers, he was part of the Weather Underground in the 1970s. They bombed the Pentagon, the Capitol and other buildings. He’s never apologized for that. And in fact, on 9/11 he was quoted in The New York Times saying, “I don’t regret setting bombs; I feel we didn’t do enough.”
An early organizing meeting for your state senate campaign was held at his house, and your campaign has said you are friendly. Can you explain that relationship for the voters, and explain to Democrats why it won’t be a problem?

Yes sexism is gettin old
I think Bill Clinton can be accused of more sexim against his wife than the media. After all Bill keeps calling HIllary a "girl". Using the term "girl" is an even bigger sexist gaffe than bitch.
