Folks agree with Barack Obama in at least one Pennsylvania trailer park. But will angry voters help or hurt Democrats in swing states this fall?

    Hope

The way I see it, this race is boiling down to cynics vs. idealists. The cynics are choosing Hillary, not so much because they love her or think she's their ideal candidate, but because they think she's the practical choice. The idealists are going for Obama because they want our system to change and he seems like the only candidate who is interested in doing so. The cynics think the idealists are naive for believing a change could occur, while the idealists think the cynics are sad for having lost their basic hope. And, as always happens, people turn their favorite candidate into a football team and forget that pretty much everyone is flawed in one way or another.

The party I want to belong to, the party of sane, rational people who still have hope for a more liberal future and yet don't feel the need to belittle the opinions of others, does not seem to exist. For now, I'm sticking with the idealists, 'cause they really just seem a little nicer.
