Bet the rent on it? I wouldn't bet a birdhouse on it.

  • Remember...

A Clinton win of under ten points in PA, which is what all signs point to right now, won't change even the slightest bit the outcome of the primary, which is Obama is the Democratic nominee.

Remember- all he has to do is keep it under fifteen points. No matter what the Clinton campaign says from now till the 22nd. I'm sick and tired of the Clinton campaign's ever moving goalposts. She has to win by fifteen or more, period, end of story. Just like everyone has been saying for weeks, and no poll can change that reality. If she doesn't, she lost.

  • I have nothing to say, and I am saying it

Look, this is a cute article. Walter Shapiro, whoever he is, did a nice job, such as it is. The thing is, there's no controversy here. Nothing to get upset about. Nothing to POUND THE KEYBOARD for. I am a little disappointed. Salon, Walter, Joan....you guys aren't doing your job. You're supposed to annoy me. Make me TYPE REAL HARD AND FAST AND IRATE-LIKE. Instead, you write a cute story about Obama bowling. WTF.

Obama bowling is hilarious. It's like Bill Clinton BMX racing, George Bush playing chess, or Hillary Clinton gripping a controller to play Grand Theft Auto. Bowl, Obama, bowl! The thing about Obama is, he's a fast learner at most everything he does. I'll be the next time he bowls he breaks 100. Then 150. Soon he'll be getting 300's. Hell, given a chance, I'll bet Obama could even break 300.

And the shoes. Obama makes them look cool. Because guess what? He's two-tone.

I'd like to see Dick Cheney bowling. I'll bet he tosses his balls clear over into the other lanes. Or behind him. I'll bet when Dick Cheney goes bowling, he ends up accidentally throwing his ball into his friend's face.

So go, Obama, go. Make a 7-10 split between the red states and blue states!

Now we know what Bill Richardson meant by "gutter politics."

And as for little miss "Obama didn't have his hand on his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance," oh my god. How do you get to be that old, and still be so dumb? What were you doing for those past 80 years, chewing on cardboard?

    Rowe,

That was really, really funny! Thank you for that!

  • More Fraudulent Election BS Coverage!

Such fluff and powder to sell a little more war.

Keep bowling gutter balls that will inflame our electoral passionsyou brave and worthy MSM war shills .

Which criminal to lead us in war? America is dying to find out who!

  • Regardless of his bowling skills...

...I think Obama's efforts to connect with working class voters may have just gotten easier since it was reported by politico.com last night that the Clintons -- in spite of their $109 million earnings -- have drawn an additional $8 million in taxpayer funded perks. (BTW, that's equal to what the other two living ex-presidents get combined.)

Joe Six-Pack might be willing to overlook the Clintons making obscene amounts of money for book deals and speaking engagements, but doing so while drawing millions in public support surely won't sit right.

  • Obama Just Forgot....

    To follow through!!

    Duh.

  • Bosnia Fabrication Having an Effect on Pennsylvania Voters!

I believe some of the reason that Pennsylvania are turning to Barack is because of Hillary's unfortunate Bosnian mis-adventure story which goes to credibility. One thing Pennsylvanias do not like are fabricators, I should know as I live in Pennsylvania. Below is an excert of an article from the Philadelphia Inquirer, Opinion section of April 8, 2008, written by Ann Rosen Spector, a psychologist, who wanted to vote for Hillary but will now be voting for Barack.

Excerpt: "You were blindsided by Barack Obama - and felt he needed more seasoning, that it wasn't "his turn." And I stayed with you, rooted for you (even though I've admired Obama for four years). Perhaps I could have continued to hold on, if only you'd stayed on the moral high ground and told the truth.

I don't expect politicians to deliver on all their initiatives. You are a policy wonk, in a way that - even with all my education - I'm not. I don't expect to ever read or understand every detail in your health-care plan. But I'm almost as old as you, and I know that initiatives don't necessarily translate into law, that politicians have to cut deals or they will get nothing done. I thought it was unfair that likability was considered so much more important in a president than brains. Perhaps I'd enjoy a barbecue at the ranch with President Bush, but what would we talk about? I need someone who can, at least occasionally, use three-syllable words accurately. To a great extent, I have to vote for the person of greater integrity, who will try to do the right thing most of the time - and I've lost faith in you. You finally lost me at Bosnia. Your claim to have been there during active hostilities has been roundly disproved, and your explanation that you misspoke or were too tired is, at best, lame. And I'm sad. I wanted you to be what I think is the best part of you. But, perhaps even more than that, I don't want John McCain. Don't get me wrong, I wish he (or anyone) had beaten Bush in 2000. But after eight years of ineptitude, lack of moral rectitude and incompetence, I can't think of any reason that a Republican who has cuddled often enough with the Bush administration should be allowed to continue its missteps.

I will cast my vote in the primary for Obama, and hope that, while not perfect, he can unite the red and the blue into a purple nation. I tried, Hillary. I just wish you had fulfilled your incredible potential. *
