Thanks for fact checking the shoe size
I think bowling was a boon for Obama. I have been perplexed why Clinton and others keep wanting to bring it up. His bowling showed the world:
he doesn't mind getting his butt kicked by a woman
he gets along well with children (look at all the cute pics of him high-fiving the kiddies)
he can laugh at himself
Much of electoral politics involves whether or not people like you. And wherever Obama goes more people like him. They may not vote for him, but most think he has a decent personality and he does win the poll for the most voters feeling like he shares their values. Unfortunately for Clinton, she can't say the same. Fair or not. Her numbers have shrunk in every state where Obama has campaigned, sometimes by significant margins like in Texas, where polls had her 20 points ahead three weeks before the election.
I'm not bashing HRC, I hope when she returns to the Senate she will feel liberated and be able to vote her conscious at all times. I hope losing does for her what it did for Al Gore.
