Barack Obama, working-class hero?

On a bus tour through Pennsylvania, Obama tries to impress blue-collar white voters. He'll need them to keep the state close in April -- or to win it in November.

I am throwing my hat into the ring in 2012

I was once a star bolwer when I was 12. I throw righty, but the ball hooks as if it were thrown lefty. Thus, I would appeal to both conservatives and liberals. I would unite this country.

Yes, as part of the same story I saw the 20% sour grapes voters on the Obama side, but the assumptions are different with each scenario. Think about the question - "who would you vote for if X ended up running against McCain"...

Hillary needs a miracle to win. She's a very capable lady, but it is likely insurmountable. This is not a "2 outs, down 1 run in the bottom of the 9th and anything can happen in baseball" scenario. This is "down 7 with 2.2 seconds left on the clock in the 4th quarter of a basketball game" scenario. Almost impossible. Could it happen? Sure. Likely? Nope. It would likely have to be something along the lines of Obama being caught in bed with Osama Bin Laden for her to get the nomination.

So, her 'sour grapes' voters are switching because they are mad more people preferred the other canidate.

Obama is in the lead, and is likely un-cathchable. The math is clear. So, when presented with the question about Hillary-McCain, his supporters draw the conclusion that this scenario involved Hillary "stealing" the nomination through gaining more superdelegates or converting pledged delegates. Or some other underhanded means whereby the will of the people was subverted (and save me the crying over MI and FL).

So, his 'sour grapes' voters are switching because they feel their party has stabbed them in the back.

Actually, it is amazing the it is not much higher than 20%.
