"a huge gathering at Penn State University Sunday, the only one of its kind planned for the bus trip, drew an estimated 22,000 "screaming liberal sycophants," as one prominent Republican has dubbed Obama crowds."
Do you repeat these kind of unfair stereotypes (screaming liberal sycophants) in order to highlight the inanity of those commenters who try to belittle the people that are inspired to attend Obama rallies, or is this your backhanded way of implying something without having to use your own words? I think you should be more honest, drop the snark and try to be objective.
I also find it interesting that the media has latched onto the "Obama is bad at bowling" meme. The title of the article gets your message across - bowling is a sport associated with working-class whites - and Obama's lack of skill at it implies him being out of touch with that class of people. Have you considered his skill at another sport, Basketball? I'm sure he could beat you or me in it, but to tout his skills at this sport wouldn't fit in with your image of an effete liberal.
