    Nevertheless, accepting the inescapable fact that superdelegates are fallible humans (and even worse: politicians :-), then they should still be allowed to exercise their independent judgement should the primary results be a close one.

    Even if it means the candidate with the most pledged delegates does not become the nominee.

    Ouch.
