Hmmm..the last time we had a president who was a working class hero was probably FDR, and he only became one after becoming president.
Probably the best thing for Obama is to convince voters in PA that he can listen to them and understand their problems. On her own, Clinton has a lousy ground game, but she has the Rendell machine behind her, so Casey's endorsement is big. Together with his own very superior ground game, Obama will do better than the current polls indicate, and he has consistently closed the gap even when he started far behind.
In Ohio and Texas, take away the Limbaugh effect, and Clinton did not do as well as she would like us to believe. My understanding is the PA is a closed primary, so the Limbaugh Operation Chaos may not be a big factor. And given Hillary's current truthiness and funding problems, Obama has a good chance of keeping Hillary's margin close to or less than 10%. Truth to tell, money is Clinton's biggest obstacle right now, not Obama.
I may be whistling in the dark but if Obama is not thrown offstride by new crises, he may even pull an upset and take Pennsylvania. That would almost certainly persuade Clinton to pack it in. In the meantime, he should try to engage in a few pick up basketball games in public venues. Bowling is apparently not his game.
