Nice try, Salon
Your play for "clemency and forgiveness" - I'm glad I've not breakfasted yet - fell flat on its homely face. All you did was demonstrate once again that many of those who call themselves "Progressives" are just selfishly permissive and don't know the least thing about how our legal system actually operates. Brianna - she sounds more like a fan of "American Idol" or a subscriber to "People" than the enviro-arsonette she is - is lucky to have had her trial within the Ninth Circuit, which will undoubtedly bend over backwards to indulge the slimmest of her grounds for appeal and subject us all to several more years of its own whining version of "activism."
