definition blues
"The definition of terrorism is 'The calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.' Sounds like this fits."
Here's where I'd like to insert one of those historic photos which shows a bunch of white people & white cops standing around underneath an African American who was just lynched.
laws aren't always just and sometimes you have to break them... you may not always like or understand the means or the motives behind them. Briana Waters being classified as a 'terrorist' does speak volumes about what our government is prioritizing these days and that is the crux of this article.
This case is just one more example of our government representing corporate interests rather than "the people" and until that changes, many of us will not recognize their laws.
