If Clinton beats the odds and wins the Democratic nomination, Republicans will say she stole it. And then they'll try to give voters a 1990s flashback.

  • Life Is Like A Box Of Bullcrap

I still don't know why Hillary apologized for her statements on Bosnia. She's on record, making observations about her landing in Bosnia, that are consistent with the facts.

Hillary claimed, on the record, that she was under the threat of sniper fire and raced from the airport. In fact, she landed with her daughter and freaking Sinbad, strolled out of the plane and was met by some kids. Unless those kids were packin' heat, Hillary was in no immediate danger. Either Hillary Gump's delusional, senile, or lying. None of them qualify her to be President in my book.

Maybe you Hillary supporters have lower standards. Or, perhaps in the grand tradition of her husband, you're now gonna quibble over the definition of "sniper fire" the way he quibbled over the definition of "is".

No wonder her negatives have reached an all-time high in the polls. Obama and McCain don't even have to throw mud - Hillary successfully buries herself under one mudslide after another. It's a gift.

We won't even go into her non-existent role in brokering peace in Northern Ireland, yet another false claim Hillary made.

  • To the guy who was gloating about Pennsylvania

Last I checked, the vote there is on April 22.

Now Hillary is probably going to win there, I would be very surprised if she didn't, but it is still March and declaring victory there may just be a wee bit premature.

  • Bottom Line:

Hillary has got a Whole lot of Ugly to Overcome.

Let me see: a white southern populist. Huey Long? David Duke? Were you there when they changed the name of your "populist" group from White Citizens Council to Concerned Citizens Council? To draw a parallel between Obama and either Lenin or Hitler is transcendent ignorance of the first order. Barack is firmly within the liberal tradition of American thought, meaning liberal in the broadest sense, not as the epithet Limbaugh and you and yours throw around in the way that Germans spat out the word "juden" in the thirties. The whole idea of self governance is liberal. You want conservative? find a dictatorship or a monarchy. Read some history. Please correct me, but my mental image of you is the John Goodman character in O Brother Where Art Thou. He was a while southern populist, too.

  • OH PLEASE, THEY'LL DO FINE

She'd survive such an attack. Why don't you talk about Obama and how they'll attack him -- much like they did John Kerry. How unpatriotic he is, how racist underneath his "words," how horrible his wife is, for being arrogant and condescending and unpatriotic. He's a latte liberal and they'll swat Obama like a fly.

  • There ain't no swattin'...

Superfly. That ain't no lie, so you better do or die.

  • Hillary actually served in combat in Viet Nam

    From the Clinton Campaign:

Although Hillary "misspoke" on three occasions about being under sniper fire in Bosnia, she wanted voters to know that she dressed as a man so she could serve in combat in Viet Nam. Serving as "H. Rodham", Hillary was awarded 4 Purple Hearts, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Medal of Honor. By her own estimate, she believes she saved thousands of lives while in combat.

This clearly shows she has experience other than being the wife of Bill Clinton and is not, as detractors say, that she was only elected as Senator from New York by riding his coattails.

If anyone has video tape showing a different story than her combat experience, the tape has been doctored.

Hillary has continued to send the message that her fellow democrat is not fit to serve as President, not because she is out to win at any costs, but because she believes only Hillary Clinton should be President. She is a woman, after all, and its now her turn.

Besides, Bill can't wait to get back to the White House, With no duties to distract him, he can fully enjoy his retirement.

Note: The above, in case you are too dumb to get it, is a satire of Hillary Clintons lie about being under sniper fire in Bosnia.

  • @ PR

    Ha ah ahah a h!!

You should apply to the Onion!

  • courage under fire

Why, the intrepid, visionary Ms. Rodham served as a Goldwater Girl in the 1964 election. It took steel nerves, a flexible spine, and a high pain tolerance to be able to endure the scathing, withering fire of the LBJ's, on the losing end of a one sided war. Poor Hilary. Fortunately, the "BJ" part of LBJ came in handy later in life when she endured the streamin' semen in the Monica and the Magic Dress episode of the Klintoon Years, an eight year exercise in squandered chances and off color romances. Whatta woman. She has to be president. She simply has to. Bravery like that doesn't come cheap. It is cheap, but it doesn't come cheap. Let's have a hand for our brave girl!!!!

  • Hillary is harming the Democratic party

Once Clinton went to mode of throwing the kitchen sink at Obama, the contest, which had been quite clean for a presidential race, shifted to a nastier tone. Her surrogates did what I most feared, they interjected race into the campaign. Undoubtedly Senator Obama is correct, this country needs to have a dialogue about race, this has really not occurred since the civil rights era. But I don't think the heat of a political campaign provides the optimum environment for this discussion. However Senator Obama's address in Philadelphia was a brilliant exception, and I hope everyone hears or reads it. I am a white woman of the Reverend Wright's generation and I empathize with his remarks from the pulpit. Whenever we inject stereotypes of any kind the truth tends to get lost. I hope Senator Clinton gets back on track, she is a danger to her party if she does not reform her campaign.

  • I see:

Clinton's own self immolation in front of a whole hapless and divided nation.

Thanks for your post regarding my two earlier posts. It's not wise to argue with someone who doesn't know what they are talking about, but I will make a brief exception in this case to clear up a few points.

First, I'm not just a white southern populist, I'm a conservative white southern populist. I have a degree in History and english, and with more than 300 years of Southern Heritage in my background, I do love my region, with all its virtues and faults. As a matter of fact, I find a lot to admire in Huey Long, particularly his fight against Standard Oil and the Rockefeller family. Big Government and Big Business are both bad, us conservative populists feel.

I do not believe Barack Obama is merely a liberal in the great Western Liberal Tradition. I think Obama is a marxist, and that he embraces the tenets of Chairman Mao's Cultural Revolution and its chief mechanism--political correctness. He's not a communist any more than are his lefty trust-baby supporters: they love wealth way too much.

As for the references to Hitler and Lenin, they spring from the endless mantra of Obama's supporters that he makes great speeches. To which I reply, that is no reason to support Obama. Lenin and Hitler were among the most effective orators of the last century, and among mankind's greatest monsters. Lenin took over a country which covers what, 9 time zones, with 121 supporters: he did it with speeches, threats, intimidation, determination and organization, and a lot of uninformed emotional "hope" on the part of a gullible populace. The Bolsheviks took over Russia at a time when the country was engaged in a disastrous, unpopular war, there was widespread disillusionment with the existing government and society, and people yearned for--"change". I don't think my reference was off the mark at all.

The three remaining Presidential candidates are perhaps the worst crop ever, but the best of the three evils is undoubtedly Hillary Clinton. McCain is the last survivor in high places of the WWII-Cold War mentality. And Barack Obama is decidedly not the candidate his well-polished image presents to the world. Nor was Lenin's and Hitler's.
