@ljwalker53
Ljwalker: "Yeah, But You Failed To Mention... that Clinton actually does better in a GE matchup with McCain..."
Really? According to some recent poll? Most polls I've read show Obama doing better. I suspect that as the pendulum swings back to the middle (between Obama and Clinton) that Obama will continue this trend. You are more than welcome to provide links to whatever you're referring. I have already posted a half-dozen links showing Obama doing better than Clinton against McCain (though those came from before the Wright controversy).
LJwalker: "...and that she does better in battleground states than Obama."
I would amend that to "she does better in SOME battleground states." Obama has done better in some other ones.

Perspective: 4000 Dead in Iraq
Senator Barack Obama spoke out against the Iraqi war in October, 2002, showing courage, integrity and judgment. He warned of the costs of the war. Have we forgotten that we are in a war in which thousands of our young men and women have lost their lives, that tens of thousands of our young men and women now live their lives as paraplegics, crippled, blind, many with their faces burned away, many with their limbs blown away? Have we forgotten the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women and children who have died or been permanently disabled like our own brave soldiers? Have we forgotten the cost of the war that has put our country in an economic recession? Hillary Clinton voted to give George Bush authorization to initiate this war, why isn’t she being held accountable? Have we just forgotten about her vote?
Hillary Clinton supported the reckless Kyl-Lieberman Iran bill, making a US attack on Iran just that much more possible and confirmed that she learned little from her earlier vote to authorize the Iraq war.
Over 150 nations have signed the 1997 Mine Ban Treaty, our nation has not. But in the autumn of 2006, there was a chance to take a step in the right direction: Senate Amendment No. 4882, an amendment to a Pentagon appropriations bill that would have banned the use of cluster bombs in civilian areas. Senator Obama of Illinois voted IN FAVOR of the ban. Senator Clinton of New York voted AGAINST the ban.
Stop watching Fox news people! Do you really think that Chris Dodd, John Kerry, Governor Richardson and Ted Kennedy would support Senator Obama if any of the smears put out by the Clinton and McCain campaigns were true? These are some of the strongest Democratic leaders in our country. Dont buy into swift boating people! Not this time!!!!
Senator Barack Obama has won 30 contests to Clinton's 14. He has acquired 1,418 delegates to her 1,251. He leads in delegates, and popular votes!! Calling several states that Clinton won, the swing states is just more spin added to an endless string of misinformation and smear attempts against Senator Obama. Clinton's claims to foreign policy experience have been widely disputed by those actually involved in Bosnia and Ireland for example. See video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It6JN7ALF7Y&eurl=http://shootingsparks.blogspot.com/
Choosing our next president is not choosing your favorite sports figure. The future of our grandchildren and their children is at stake. Examine the legislative records of the candidates. Senator Obama has 12 years of experience in public office to Clinton’s 7. Americans know that we must stop corporate lobbyists in Washington from running our government. Senator Obama does not take money from PACs or Washington lobbyists and will not owe any favors to corporations at the cost of our environment, our economy, or our troops. Clinton’s entire campaign has been funded by corporations. We are the change we have been waiting for and we have the power to elect Senator Obama based on his record of leadership, honor and integrity.

Wright Videos
Ron Smith writes But after watching a much longer segment of that controversial sermon, one sees a different picture. Therefore, please go to www.youtube.com/trinitychgo and see what I saw. It is an eye-opener.
Maybe it will come as a surprise to you, but a majority of Americans 1. won't watch the entire video, 2. heard enough on the clips already and have made up their minds.
In a utopian world we could wish and hope for better. But all we have right now is stark reality. And the reality is that Main St. America, Ma & Pa, plus Joe Six Pack are highly patriotic and don't like peiple who come across as hating America. Even if they are right on the issue.
Main Street America votes on emotion. Do I like the guy? (or gal?.) I mean look at Bush. Most people disagreed with him on most of the issues during two elections cycles, but voted for him anyway because they wanted to share a beer with him. It is sad. But again it is reality.
Obama has been branded now with the cicculation of these tapes, just like New Coke. And there is no way he can change the public's perception of him.

@ doloresflower: Taking The Pulse Of Clinton Supporters
Of course I want a Democrat to win the WH! I thought I'd made clear at some point support for whomever is the nominee.
I have some serious reservations about Obama's electability against John McCain. I think I have aired most of these before the Wright flap. But, to recap, now:
1] Lack of national/international experience
2] His ties to Antoin Rezko for so many years
3] His own use of "racism" against the Clintons
4] His flip-flops on Iraq
5} His acceptance of Wall Street money in his campaigns
6] His inability to effect change (of the sort he speaks about) either in Illinois or the U.S. Senate
7] The negative way his colleagues in the Illinois Senate and in the U.S. Senate have portrayed him: "taking a powder" on controversial votes; referring to him as a "dilettante" in the U.S. Senate
8] His wife's comments
9] His judgment about Rev. Wright
I think John McCain will make mincemeat out of him on issues 1, 4, 5, 6, 7.
I think the right-wing will have a heyday with 2, 3, 7, 8, 9.
Frankly, I'm getting the little John Kerry-butterflies in my stomach about Obama's electability. I knew Kerry was a goner the minute he was swiftboated. And that is, I'm afraid, where things are headed for Obama.
