Disagree
Voters who cast their votes before the recent barrage of misinformation had more than enough meaningful information with which to make a decision, and were lucky to have voted before the flood of craptitious low-road info foisted on the public in the past month.
Now we have to put our faith in the wisdom of the supers and their willingness to wade through all the crap to find the pony.

The Clintons have always "played" to the conservative wing of the party. It's the secret of their success--and if it weren't for Obama's appeal to the new generation would have won her the nomination easily. I don't think sending working folk to war to protect the interests of a few has been their intention--and the message has gotten through. Take a look at my file for my analysis of why they had to take this course of action, then a discussion is possible. More is at stake than I think you know.

Hillary was a Goldwater supporter. Her politics closely align with those of John McCain. Hillary and Bill both love McCain and hate the "upstart" Obama who turned her coronation into a dynastic joke. Hillary will be on the ticket with McCain. She will get in bed with him. Payback time for Bill. McCain will die from sheer exhaustion. Hillary will become President of the hybrid Repubcrat party. This is my prediction if the Dems don't do something now to get her out of the race.

Sniping
Hil-liar, a liar about sniper fire in Bosnia, a liar about her being co-president and responsible for peace in Northern Ireland, a liar about her enabling warmonger george. no wonder she and bill stayed "together"- the only one that would put up with the other WAS the other. May they both go to hell; they're well on their way.

1. You forgot NAFTA and BAFTA lies
2. Lies about Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewinsky
3. Lies about Children's Health (Marian Edelman who she often refers to is an Obama supporter)
4. Lies about civil rights. She and her husband were instrumental in passing the worst omnibus crime bill in the history of law enforcement. Crack vs cocaine - remember?
5. Lies, lies, lies. They will never stop exaggerating their pitiful 2 terms in office which they gleefully handed over to their Republican friends.

I'd like to believe you...I really would. But I think you underestimate how easily people snap to judgements and how impossible it is to get them to think rationally when their deepest values are challenged.
Or need I remind you of George Bush's Second Term in Office?
-
my apologies, madam
Hey,who can keep up with the prevarications? I never held Bill's serial philandering against her; come to think of it, I wouldn't like to hold ANYTHING against her. Like the patterns in the exit polls in 2000 and 2004, in which every variance favored Bush, every Clinton "misstatement" or creative representation, or whatever other euphemism you care to use, always puts them in the best possible light. Always. THe difference is, Bill was a good liar, in the sense he could make you believe him for a while. the Hillster is a wooden liar, a twitching snitch, a shrill shill. Ugh.

@MaddieP
I hear ya sister...thing is, I don't think we'll see a repeat of 2004. I really think that the McCain problem is going to come home to roost - evangelicals don't see him as one of their own...I don't think the Republicans will be able to use McCain to Get Out the Vote like they did in 2000 and 2004.
(of course I could be wrong, but I really don't see them getting overly mobilized for McCain..and without the ground game the Slime Machine isn't nearly as effective...)
hey, it's just one man's opinion ;)
-
Yeah unless...
...they mobilize around to keep that "America Hating Secret Black Panther Muslim Subversive" out of office to protect the American Way of Life.
If you think your head was about to explode when the Wright thing broke last week, wait until you see the utter foolishness they will concoct in time for November. And ask yourself if Billy Bob Machine Worker Democrat with three American Flags on the bumper of his F250 is going to BUY it. (I'm not suggesting TRUTH I'm suggesting BUYING INTO the marketing message the repub will relentlessly pound out). I'm simply saying - maybe. And that scares the bejeezus out of me because we need Old Billy Bob to win the White House.
All i'm saying is that we need to not gloss over this whole Wright thing. It has the potential to be a HUGE HUGE problem. Way bigger than it is amongst ourselves (on are ostensibly the same team).

Nasty Names
John in Nashville: from your post I'll bet you didn't vote for AL Gore although if he carried Tennessee he win's by a larger majority in the popular vote. You Hillary haters only make yourselves look bad. People with any class can write a post without calling Hillary nasty names.

Democratic primary system
This election should be a wake up call the Howard Dean that the system is far too complicated for the average voter. It takes a degree in calculas to figure it out. The republicans have made it simple and it is time for the democratics to get smart and do the same. The media has the love affair with Obama; his name is said ten times to one of Hillary. The male dominate are spending time focusing on what Hillary did in the ninties. No mention of Obama's record since he move up the ladder in Illinois and the senate. I for one have turned off the news channels because of their pimping the Obama saga. I hope Hillary takes it all the way to the convention. If Barack Hussein Obama is the nominee, I will vote for McCain who is just another Bush. It is time to recognize Florida and Michigan

Deep Sigh: Obama just seems so arrogant and disrespectful to elders and his strong refusal to be on the VP ticket. I just don't see how I can accept him. Hillary on the other hand seemed very gracious and reached out at the end of Texas debate. you are right, I won't vote for Obama.
