  • Richardson's endorsement

    "What Richardson's blessing signified was that an ambitious politician with close ties to Bill Clinton (they watched the Super Bowl together) decided that his self-interest would be enhanced by choosing Obama rather than Hillary." Of course it's de facto out of the question that Richardson meant what he said when he said Obama is a "once-in-a-lifetime leader." This constant discrediting of those who feel passionately about Obama is getting harder and harder to take, especially from Salon, which I used to respect. Why is it so hard for you to believe that other people really can believe in the hope and promise of Obama's campaign?
