So what's up doc? What's happenin' deep inside the bowels of the Hillary bunker?
You've been drinking too much of your own Kool-Aid. The idea that Obama would lose to McCanine the traditionally "Blue States" is absolutely ludicrous.
I understand that in hindsight polls can often be wrong; however, there still is no evidence to suggest that Obama loses to McCain and Hillary doesn't. I'm sure that there are things that the republicans will try to throw at Obama and maybe some of them will stick, but again, won't that push Democrats further away from McCain? Also, aren't you making the assumption that there is nothing else to dig up about the Clintons? Considering how reluctant they are to release their tax returns or to release some of the papers from his library, I think there is probably more out there. And I think the Republicans are salivating at the idea of having the chance to dig up more dirt on the Clintons. The weird little news story about Clinton's donations from Kazakhstan springs to mind.

I also don't know where you are getting your information that Reagan Democrats are voting in droves for Hillary and that they will not vote for Obama. Seriously, I'd like to read more about this. I thought the conventional wisdom was that the Reagan Democrats were so disgusted with the first Clinton presidency that they voted for Bush in 2000. Everything that I've read suggests that Hillary's largest base of support is older white women and Latinos. Aren't more Republicans and Independents voting for Obama than can be expected to vote for Clinton?
As far as Obama not winning states with more than 15 electoral votes, I have to correct you there. He won: SC: 45 electoral votes; AL: 52; CT: 48; CO: 55; MN: 72; LA: 56; VA: 83; my home state of MD: 38; WI: 63 and GA: 87.
I do wonder why you believe that the Democratic base would defect en masse from Obama and vote for McCain, when Obama and Hillary agree on 95% of their issues and McCain is anti-abortion, pro-war, pro-Bush, and pro-Hagee? Maybe you need to spell it out slowly for me, but I still am not understanding how Obama will lose the traditionally democratic states to McCain, but Clinton won't, just because he lost the primaries to her.
Finally, Florida. I think that Florida's delegates should count. But before we seat them, I think that they should redo their primary and allow both Obama and Clinton to campaign for a short period of time and then have people vote again. Seems fair, right? My understanding is that Howard Dean suggested something like this, but that Hillary's campaign has categorically refused any sort of redo. I assume because they are not confident she can win again. I believe that many Florida Democrats, and many MI Democrats, sat out their primary because they knew their delegates wouldn't be seated and they thought their votes wouldn't count. As such, I don't think there will be a mass defection to McCain or a mass refusal of Florida Democrats to cast a vote for Obama out of spite and anger. But you're right, there we might just have to agree to disagree.
Ah Doc. I just got on the net and read your rather weak attempt to say that I gave not reason as to why I changed my vote from Hillary to Obama. I suggest you go back and read the post so you can understand what I said. I did give a whole list of reasons why after much soul searching and after the way Hillary has exposed herself in the last few weaks, I now find it impossible to support her candidacy. And if you want me to make a list again, I will be glad to do so. Here is another reason why Hillary's toxicity has turned off so many people

You did not expose or discredit anything. But if that makes you feel good, be my guest. The truth is, there has been a lot of movement from Hillary to Obama and I am afraid that that is not true the other way around.
Did you read the abc news story for which reality counts posted a link? If not, you should, because from here it looks like a potential bombshell for Obama, with Rezko providing the explosives. I can't see how this isn't going to resonate big time with voters:

This is the issue that has me really pissed off. The huge Hillary supporters on these boards have not addressed this issue.
It's my understanding that all the Democratic candidates signed an agreement to not campaign in MI and FL. This implies that they all agreed with the DNC decision to strip these states of their delegates, but the states held their primaries anyway. Hillary won both. Now she wants them seated, and her campaign has admitted it will fight tooth and nail to get her way.
Joan Walsh, who is a big Hillary fan (even though she denies it, it's obvious, please don't insult our intelligence, Joan) has never taken on this issue. For Hillary supporters, I don't understand how they can defend Hillary's insistence to seat these delegates from a non-election, a bogus election, etc. (whatever you call it). How can we as a party stand for "democracy" when crap like this happens? How can Hillary, as president, if she wins, stand in the White House and denounce other countries' electoral processes when she herself would be illegitimate? I just don't get it. Sign an agreement, and then when the outcome looks favorable, change the rules to please yourself and oh, never admit a mistake. Haven't we had 8 years of crap like this? Playing dirty. Please, a Hillary supporter, explain this to me.
I'm one of the people who preferred Kucinich, as neither Hillary's nor Barack's plan cuts out the evil health merchants who are choking our health care system. However, Hillary has almost no chance of beating McCanine. The simple truth is that the media and most of the big-wig money people are white, heterosexual males, who prefer a black dude over a chick any day. Hillary would get pilloried. I'm with Barack for now, for the moment, even though I've gone back and forth, as I do recognize his many short-comings.
