I disagree with you on the plagairism issue, and we could keep going round and round on this all day, but I don't have the time.

For me, issues that I think are larger and much more important (vote on the war, foreign policy positions, healthcare, experience in collaborative approaches to policy development, dishonesty and somewhat slimey tactics on the part of the Clinton campaign) all clearly point me in the direction of Obama as a candidate. I don't think the plagairism issue is legit in either case. I brought up the Clinton lines merely as a laugh at this ridiculous issue that her campaign thinks is key in this time of recession, war, and just disgusting politics in our country.

leaving the rest of your long debunked tripe aside, the real reason Obama has gotten where he is

1. Hillary has had to fight the nut left AND the well funded lethal right
2. Hillary has had to fight with one hand tied behind her

   back because she couldn't alienate the nut left too much.

3. Hillary has had the Republican owned press all over her, from nightly burials and predictions of demise on smirking talk shows, to Cafferty's bloody editorials,to phoney polls showing Obama leading McCain in efforts to dupe gullible inexperienced Dem voters.
4. Hillary has also had to endure a well orchastrated effort to have Republicans vote for Obama in open primaries and register as Democrats elsewhere to do the same (Republicans for Obama was started well over 2 years ago by the right and since only 3% of Republicans admit to supporting him, something seems very phoney).

1. Hussein-Obama has only had to fight the center left.
2. The more Hussein-Obama hit Hillary the more the radical left liked it (the radical left has long been most comfortable shooting it's rightmost foot instead of it's real opponent).
3. The press was pumping him up and giving him a free pass because they WANTED him to be the Dem candidate
4. Caucuses are biased to affluent male white liberals
5. The right was willfully laying off Hussein-Obama and attacking Hillary.

In other words, Hussein-Obama has had a very lightweight primary run - nothing at all like a General Election will be.

Once you get a taste of that your won't be braying quite as loudly.

I'm not sure why you think what I said is a pipedream. If anything, my statement was about stepping back from being fixated on a particular, perhaps unrealistic, outcome to ask, "If I don't get my first choice, who will be the best second choice."
