Your insulting our collective intelligence turns me off.

If it is only about supporting someone (however nauseous) who can win the general election (and saying that Clinton would be able to pull that off is a joke), then yes, go ahead and stay mired in the foreign and domestic policy that has made us akin to a developing nation.

Btw, I take the phrase "intellectual elitist" to be a compliment. Thank you for taking the time to throw that at me.

  • @sesanders

Yeah! Cross-over White male voters in red state encouraged by local Republican leaders helped Obama. Allowing cross-over voters is a double edged sword. It attracted some independents, and it took in Republican influence. In General election in November, Republicans will vote Republican. Obama is the Trojan Horse.

  • Politics of fear...whatever that is!

Jim L., I was unhappy about Obama and Hillary being in the election from the very beginning. I think the Democrats had better choices but the media froze them out. I do not fall for demagogues and I distrust smooth talkers who win over a crowd in a few minutes with inspirational and idealist palaver. Finally, Michelle's "authentic" hostility will not sit well with Americans!

  • "In General election in November, Republicans will vote Republican. "

    Ah, the "electability" argument.

A new poll shows that Hillary LOSES to McCain by 11 points in a head to head matchup.

Barack Obama WINS over McCain by 10 points.

    Explain this, chump.

  • @Sesanders,

    I'm calling you a racist.

You have called Michelle Obama "hostile" and say that she "has an attitude."

That is code for your hate and fear of a strong Black woman.

You can deny, and deny, and deny.

I know you will try to deny.

But your words show the truth.

  • The truth hurts!

Anonymous, the word, racist, has been the mantra of the Obama campaign and they have gotten away with calling anyone and every one who doesn't agree with them a racist. By the way, Michelle is hostile! There is no doubt about it!

  • Obama

Re: "I'm calling you a racist. You have called Michelle Obama "hostile" and say that she "has an attitude."That is code for your hate and fear of a strong Black woman."

Once Obama is elected all that race card nonsense is OVER.

  • xophere

good post ... I would also like Obama to take McCain on on the public financing. Any way you slice it, he is going to run circles around around McCain and his plastic trophy wife.

I'm also a great fan of Michelle - she's a beautiful, accomplished, intelligent woman and will make a great first Lady. I love how she and Barrack support and stand up for each other ... none of the psycho-drama of the Clintons going on there!

  • I didn't know I was employed by the Obama campaign.

Fool, I'm just a person sitting here in my pajamas, same as you.

I am not affiliated with any political campaign.

But I know racist code when I hear it and I am calling you out on it.

If you would like to learn some facts about Michelle Obama, she is on the cover of this week's Newsweek and you can read the story at http://www.newsweek.com/.

Or you can just sit there in your pajamas and continue to engage in race-baiting name-calling.

    Which do you choose?

  • @Sesanders,

Please post a link to show someone AFFILIATED (that means, employed) by the Obama campaign calling someone "a racist."

  • sesanders, Anon

You mean pretty much the way Hillary Campaigners have played up Hillary being a female, and called females voting for the other candidate gender-traitors?

Or how about the collective disgust by Hillary supporters at Obama using the word "periodically." As grasping for straws goes, well, that one kind of beats the hell out of most things.

At the start of the campaing Obama was getting accused of not being black enough. Now he gets criticised for playing the race card. Gee, I wonder how convincing your argument really is.

    Anon

Don't read more into his comments than he means, it only makes you look weak. He isn't being racist, just wrong.

  • @Taliesan,

Thank you for your kind words. I knew I would be adding fuel to this fool's mind by calling him out on this, but I just can't sit back and hear someone use those words about a great lady. Anyone who reads that Newsweek article will be impressed with her, and I just feel like defending her against these smears.

By the way, everyone, in case you would like to read the ENTIRE statement by Michelle Obama, here it is:

“What we’ve learned over this year is that hope is making a comeback. It is making a comeback and let me tell you something, for the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change. And I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction and just not feeling so alone in my frustration and disappointment. I’ve seen people who are hungry to be unified around some basic common issues, and it’s made me proud. And I feel privileged to be a part of even witnessing this, traveling around states all over this country and being reminded that there is more that unites us than divides us…”

They are questioning her patriotism and saying that her statement means she has never been proud or very proud of anything about America before. Their accusations are without merit for many reasons. One reasons is because anyone who is even mildly objective knows that she was speaking in the moment to a crowd. Another reason is that any reasonable person would believe that a woman seeing her husband (of any race) have a real chance to be president would be the proudest moment in her life and no reasonable person would believe she meant she’d never been proud of this country before."

  • Barack Supporters . . .

Do you know how badly many of you come-off posting here?

Calling people "racists"? Calling people "dimwits", then telling them to stop insulting Obama supporters? Bragging about what "amazing people" you are?

Some of you folks make me want to vote against him in November. And there alot more people like me in America.

The majority of Americans don't vote in Democartic primaries, but will in the General.

I think if Barack know how you treated other people, he'd be kinda ashamed of some of you.

How about trying to have as much class and dignity as he does?

    IMHO.
