Hillary's time of troubles

As Clinton and Obama spoke to Virginia Democrats on Saturday, the crowd's response -- and returns from Nebraska, Washington and Louisiana -- showed how the tide is turning.

The letters thread is now closed.

Good people

"No place for a good person or for a true patriot."

Yeah, maybe. I have a simple rule, myself. Good people use a moniker. Assholes, morons, dweebs and idiots post under "Anonymous". Like you, buddy/babs.

@dataguyx -- gee, the hostility from these uniters!

You wrote: Other than the FACT that this is totally being pulled out of your butt, it is about as accurate as anything in Nostrademus or in a tarot card. Stop posting bullshit. You have NO IDEA what superdelegates would do. I can say one thing: Many of them, like Gore's campaign manager, have said that the superdelegates should not decide the issue. They will follow the other delegates, that's MY GUESS - I AM BEING HONEST UNLIKE OTHERS WHO

Hmm, I state a simple fact and you go off like a crazy person. I guess the truth hurts, huh? Superdelegates are mostly party functionaries, many of whom came up through the system during the Clinton years and remember them fondly. Your guy won't be the nominee no matter how many Montanas and Idahos he comes with, sorry, guy.

@Cythera

Cythera: "I mean, you're opposed to corporate lawyers?"

No, I am opposed to the statement that working in corporate law constitutes "serving the people of America."

That was the main point of my post. I am not sure what you disagree with there.

Cythera: "Do you hate Michelle Obama? And do you know nothing about Hillary's public service? Then you are a stone cold moron."

Nice.

More violent rage and name-calling from dataguyx

"Assholes, morons, dweebs and idiots..." Projecting, much? Love the unity from the uniters. Really uplifting, like their candidate.

"dataguyx", troll of the week.

Whereas posting vulgar profanity under a pseudoalias like "dataguyx" takes SO much more courage!

Just sit there and be stupid.

@ncawley

You stated that I "insinuated" that the Bush presidency was better than Clinton's. Wrong. I stated that Clinton failed to rally people behind big issues during his tenure and Bush was able to do just that. My example (which I know well as a teacher), is NCLB.

NCLB was a flawed federal mandate from the start, flawed in its implementation, a burden for many poorer districts with few remedies and many constraints. And yet, this legislation was passed and has, for better or worse, transformed schools and districts across the nation. Criticize Bush all you want, but he got what he asked for and then some. That's what happens when you are able to stand in front of the American people and call them to your side. Perhaps if the Clintons weren't so busy putting out fires (some of their own making)during his administration, they might have been able to pass more ambitious and progressive legislation.

@ Xrandadu Hutman: RESPONSE TO Iraq War & Hillary Clintons Experience

To Xrandadu Hutman:

I have two responses to your postings. The first one is the war and the second is the statement I made to Hillary Clinton's years of service and explanation to your response.

WHY THE WAR HAPPENED:

Maybe if Colin Powell didn't go to the United Nations with pictures of the so called "Weapons of Mass Destruction", we would not be in this mess.

I am so sick of hearing how Obama didn't vote for the war, but I am sure if he was in the senate at the time, he would have.

Obama is funding the war, so you tell me where he stands.

Lets move forward and know the facts on how Hillary Clinton and Obama are going to get our sons and daughters out of harms way.

The Obama sermons are getting old with the reference to the vote for the war in Iraq.

We need specifics on how we are going to get everyone home!

HILLARY CLINTONS WORK EXPERIENCE:

Following graduation, she became a staff attorney for the Children's Defense Fund

Served as only one of two women lawyers on the staff of the House Judiciary Committee

Hillary ran a legal aid clinic for the poor when she first got to Arkansas and handled cases of foster care and child abuse.

When she was just 30, President Carter appointed her to the board of the United States Legal Services Corporation, a federal nonprofit program that funds legal assistance for the poor.

She also served on national boards for the Children's Defense Fund, the Child Care Action Campaign, and the Children's Television Workshop.

She also continued her legal career as a partner in a law firm. She led the American Bar Association's Commission on Women in the Profession, which played a pioneering role in raising awareness of issues like sexual harassment and equal pay.

Hillary was twice named one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America.

She traveled the globe speaking out against the degradation and abuse of women and standing up for the powerful idea that women's rights are human rights.

In 2000, Hillary was elected to the United States Senate from New York. As Senator, Hillary has continued her advocacy for children and families and has been a national leader on homeland security and national security issues.

She is the first New Yorker ever to serve on the Senate Armed Services Committee, working to see that America's military has the necessary resources to protect our national security.

I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SEE AN OBAMA SUPPORTER PROVIDE ME WITH FULL DETAILS OF THEIR CANDIDATES WORK FOR ALL AMERICANS. (I DO NOT WANT A LINK TO AN OBAMA SITE. I WANT YOU TO PUT IT IN WRITING.)

I think we can see what sort of country we'll have

if Obama wins. Preening narcissists shrieking slogans at us, then berating us when we don't fall in line. Worship for style and spectacle over substance. A cult of personality that replaces reasoned debate.

Oops, aren't we already there? Hasn't Bush given us as much of this as we can stomach? Maybe the Obamadroids should stop chanting "Yes! We! Can!" and start shouting "Four! More! Years!"

You seem to have left out her sterling work on the board of Wal-Mart, back when it had a seperate pay scale for its female employees and was most actively engaged in union busting.

Latte Liberal Lemmings

Thankfully, the Superdelegates will put a halt to the Angry Children's Crusade before they lead us over the cliff in November. The Idiotic bile I hear from the Obamamaniacs just reinforces the view that these self-absorbed, selfish brats can't be trusted to give us 4 additional years of Republicanism.
