Clinton gets her party started

Wins in Massachusetts, California and other big states, plus an uncommonly good speech by their candidate, made a New York Super Tuesday crowd very happy.

I second (or third) Jaben's post...

"If You Folks Do Nothing Else Today, Read --Jaben's Post Here

    Wow!

Both Clinton and Obama are lawyers. But the Editor of the Harvard Law Review (Obama) those 15 or so years ago is a heavyweight legislator. By contrast we see a lightweight legislator in Hillary Rodham Clinton.

    My God, what a contrast!

    -- Ron Smith"

The "unsettling" thing for me about Hillary (to borrow other Hillaryites) since the 1st. day she took office as senator has been this snow-job she's been laying on us about her "experience" over other candidates. She's a lightweight in the senate compared to Obama.

Since we are talking about defining moments, I'll give you mine own moment in regards to Hillary: on the day of 9/11 during a press conference on the footsteps of the Capitol Building, she just about started running for cover just as the other Congressmen/women and Senators started singing God Bless America (or some shit)...so then she slowly creeped back into the picture...and started singing along. Which kinda looked cowardly to me, at a time when we didn't need to see that in our politicians.

Okay, so you probably all think this is pretty minor or pointless as a reason for voting for Obama. And true, it's not like GWB was any less cowardly, or half of DC for that matter...but it kinda tainted my image of her, and she hasn't really recovered it since then...seeing as how she voted for the war and all...

And Christ, if somebody is going to vote for Hillary because Obama isn't saying anything about the Jews in Israel (see article), then I think my reason for voting AGAINST Hillary is certain not any less petty.

BTW, I'm VERY disappointed in Salon's fawning coverage over Hillary as opposed to Obama...Rebecca's "article" is proof of the one-sided-ness of Salon's support for Hillary. And if that keeps me from getting a neat little red star by my post, then so be it!
