We are tired of letting the Clintons use us for their own gratification.
Bill Clinton has been using people for his own gratification for a long, long time. When he wants something, he WANTS it. Many of us jumped to his defense when he was being hounded for having sexual relations with a White House intern - but that was only in the context of a greater evil.
What Bill Clinton did to Monica Lewinsky was shameful - and he put us all at risk by engaging in what he knew to be reckless behavior. All the values he supposedly believed in, all the reasons he gave us about why he wanted to be president - none of these things were ultimately important enough to stand in the way of getting what he WANTED. So he got what he wanted...some momentary pleasure...and the rest of the country got to learn how to explain what oral sex is to our children.
Now he wants to go back to the White House again. Again, nothing will stand between Bill Clinton and what he wants. If the "first black president" (who, of course, is not really black and is only called black because of his inability to control his urges) has to destroy a black man who has the potential to actually do for this country what Bill Clinton only talked about - so be it.
We have all been Bill Clinton's Monica Lewinsky for long enough. We are tired of him wagging his finger at us. Sure, Bush and the Republicans are worse. Murder is worse than screwing some girl with a crush on you in the White House pantry. But it doesn't mean we want his clenis in our mouths AGAIN.

Jesse is better than Obama
Re: "clinton states that Obama's big win is just like Jesse Jaclson's. Clearing inferring that Obama won because he is black, like Jackson."
How do you know that Jackson only won because he's black? Jackson so far, has won more primaries than Obama, across more racial lines. Jackson got whites and Latinos in addition to blacks. Jackson won 11 states, even with the media trying to dismiss him.
Obama could never be Jesse Jackson because Jackson takes a STAND. Obama is a Bargainer.

*sigh* It's apparent the Clintonistas will give McCain the presidency
Based on all the bellowing by the Billary disciples on this board, it is clear what is gonna happen:
1.) Billary wins the nomination when all the scared white "liberal" folk's panic over Barack's candidacy and non-cynical message reaches critical mass
2.) McCain - or hell, even Romney or Huckabee - pull out an easy win over Billary in November....made easier because:
a.) The young adults, independents and minorities inspired by Obama stay away from the ballot stations, disillusioned by seeing their candidate smeared to death by the cynical psuedo-centrists that make up the Billary collective.
b.) The "Anybody but Hillary" crowd, naturally, shows up en masse to vote against her. Remember, these people are out there, their numbers are greater than you think, and they would sooners put bin Laden in office than Billary.
(...Or a black man, for that matter.)
NET RESULT: Another 4 dreadful years of Repub neocon rule. Another 4 years of war, pro-corporate anti-people policies, cronyism and environmental rape.
I still love Big Bill in many respects, but face it, Billary fans: your candidate will be the Ralph Nader of 2008 - i.e. she will cost progressives the election.

re: He can't f#cking WIN
Barack Obama's candidacy is about his race, and, sadly, because of his race, his candidacy will end in failure. Two years ago he was a state senator of little accomplishment or repute - he has no foriegn policy experience, no executive experience, no military experience, no, well, no experience at all.
Exactly. And he'll be running against Big Daddy Keep-Ya-Safe John McCain and the GOP and the media will take him down in 2 days which is precisely why they've held their fire, snickering, given Obama free Rovian campaign help, sent their troops to the primaries to vote for him, and continued to have their media whores glorify Obama while willfully ignoring his no-show in the Senate and woeful lack of experience.
Similarly truthfully noting LBJ's accomplishments on civil rights is "racist" but 80% of black voters in Democrats voting for an arrogant sop without experience because he's black presumably isn't.
As for the white male liberals that typicaly write Clinton bashing idiocy on Salon letters, you just have to understand. About 1/3 of them apparently like "tom payne" are Republican trolls needing to interject Monicaism into every other sentence (incidentally my answer to that is at least when Democrats are philandering they're doing it with GIRLs and not underage highschool paiges and male hookers and soliciting police officers in airport restrooms).
The rest of the obama adulators/Clinton trashers appear to be those lefties that live to lose and victimize themselves so they can hang out on Salon tabletalk writing their witty little thread titles for each Republican instilled atrocity ("What fresh Hell is this", ad nauseum). The only good thing is the longer the Republicans destroy the middle-class it seems like they steadily drop off as they can't afford the Salon membership and the rest of us don't have to suffer through their arrogant fartfogs.
God willing Mrs. Clinton can pull through. It's going to be tough now between the Republicans and the liberal trolls who have now made it a black vs. white race war for her to win against the REpublican machine, but she still might be able to pull it off, whereas if Obama had been humble enough to admit that he wasn't experienced enough to yet run for Presidency this would all be a non-issue: we'd be looking at a Democratic landslide. Instead we're now going to have (at least) another four years of the GOP to further instill their ruinious policies on the people.
But my gut feeling is thanks to these trolls, both on the left and right, we better get used to saying President McCain and get ready for an Argentinan melt-down.
But please please don't blame this on the Democratic Party. Those of us who remember the prosperity, peace good governing of the Clinton years would in fact just love to "go back" to that. God please send me back to that!
Those of us with a tad of maturity understand "hope" isn't going to get you to square one without a plan, alliances, hardwork and experience.
Let's nominate someone with a chance, huh?
As far as presenting that to the "net roots" of Salon writers you may as well piss in the wind. Doncha know Hillary was single-handedly responsible for sending US to Iraq yet? And remember these were the geniuses who gave away a Democratic Senate Majority by demonizing and antagonizing a man who had an 87% record of voting with the Democrats. (and now proceeds to screw the rest of us in retaliation).
In short the liberal left couldn't find it's way out of a closet with a flashlight and a map. And now unfortunately they've willfully created a race war within the party and assured a Republican victory.
