Obama's historic run heads south

Did his victory in Iowa and strong showing in New Hampshire really "put to rest the notion that a black candidate can't win in America"?

Their program is the stuff of dreamers!

Probably most of them are very young and are clearly quite naive (or, as they would put it, "idealistic"). Obama is foolish to bank on these starry-eyed losers carrying him to the nomination or the White House--as his stunning, momentum-stopping loss in New Hampshire proves.

I've heard this rhetoric before, somewhere in the history books. In fact, it could be verbatim taken out of Lenin's pamphlet Left Communism: An Infantile Disorder (Lenin was never one, like most people on these letter sections, to pass up a good, childish insult). It's funny after stabbing everyone in the back, purging the Soviets and arresting anyone to the left of him while in the MIDST of fighting the White Counter Revolutionary forces, that he came, when the civil war was over, to find himself the overseer of a bankrupt, corrupt, confusing bureaucracy. A bureaucracy that would murder his fellow purger, Trotsky, and anointing the one of the very goons they created (Stalin).

The point of this historical detour is that purgers, "pragmatists", centrist rats, and other fellow travelers, not only devised and built their own demises, but managed to wreck and or destroy everyone around them. Frankly, I don't even like Obama, but thats beside the point at this stage. Will we see a purge like we saw when Nader ran for president? Will we see a further move to co-op the rights own platform and message? Why are nominal liberals always out to bleed those that have a whiff of being further to the left than them? Fundamental questions you, and others on this "letter" section, are probably ill-equipped to answer.
