I have not heard a single Obama support refutes Obama's warning that a lot of his supporters might not support Clinton.
Hillary and Bill's antics since the morning before the NH primary, when they thought for sure that they were going to lose, turned my off immensely, and now I am having second thoughts as to whether I will vote at all should Senator Clinton beat Obama. If I do vote for Hillary in November, it will be because I do not want a pro-life judge sent to the Supreme Court, and because she pledged to get all combat troops out of Iraq before the end of her first year.
But I have noticed a dramatic change in opinion of Hillary among conservatives, independents, and men since the NH primary. Most of them are taking a second long look at McCain.
Hillary was already fighting a huge national negative image of herself, and the attacks that she and her husband have made on Obama and the dead, but still very admired, Reagan, have made the disfavor with her even deeper.
the irony is that Clinton didn't have to go negative against a fellow Democrat or a dead president (who won 49 states in reelection, just 24 years ago) to have kept her huge support in the Democratic party. Had Hillary and Bill kept their scorn in check they could have easily cruised to the nomination. But instead Billary (Hillary and Bill) have pissed off a lot of African Americans, moderates, and conservatives. Not a wise move when you are fighting a negative image.
