    Editorial or feature article?

'Ron Paul is a baby elephant?' 'Quixotic campaign'? (from the parallel 'interview' of Ron Paul). It's disappointing to see how hard it is for Salon writers to dig up facts (the research is a bit thin), or present them without the bias of their personal conclusions, or even worse, echoing the biases and conclusions of the main stream media or other politicos or journalists.

It's also sad to see what questions you decided to ask the man when you had an interview set up. Intriguing perhaps, but still skirting the meat of the matter. The interview is a better piece than this, but not much.
