Ron Paul is a baby elephant

From around the country, Ron Paul's followers are descending on New Hampshire to go door-to-door for their man. But what do they really want?

    I'm glad you asked!

    OMG HE IS RELIGIOUS!!!!!

    Who cares?

    -- Chris Sinnard

Thomas Jefferson, for one. He couldn't stand "religious" people. He wasn't the only Founder who felt that way.

Thomas Jefferson: "I have examined all the known superstitions of the word, and I do not find in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology. Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make one half the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the earth."

    Letter to William Short

"Christianity...(has become) the most perverted system that ever shone on man. ...Rogueries, absurdities and untruths were perpetrated upon the teachings of Jesus by a large band of dupes and importers led by Paul, the first great corrupter of the teaching of Jesus."

"The clergy converted the simple teachings of Jesus into an engine for enslaving mankind and adulterated by artificial constructions into a contrivance to filch wealth and power to themselves...these clergy, in fact, constitute the real Anti-Christ.

Jefferson's word for the Bible? "Dunghill"

I guess Ron Paul isn't the new Thomas Jefferson after all.

All those quotes are real, unlike this one:

If the American people ever allow banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the corporation that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their forefathers conquered. –Thomas Jefferson

    Total wingnut bullshit.
