re: "Anyone from the GOP here?"
bwahahahahha.
You losers keep reciting the same tired script.
Is Hillary a witch? Is Hillary a Marxist? Is Hillary a Marxist witch? Bwahahahaha, you loser.
Fact: Rudy condoned murder of innocent New Yorkers by his NY cops.
-
Another reason to be suspicious of Clinton
Why would anybody even attempt to play Billy Joel's recording of New York State of Mind instead of playing the definitive recording by Carmen McRae?
-
Now wait a minute, anonymous...
How can it be that Hillary is, as you say, "a Marxist" and also "will do anything for money?" Does that mean Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller were Marxists? When you start flinging too many insults they start shooting each other down, y'know.
That's like the old conservative screed against the media that "they're leftists" and that "all they want to do is sell papers." How can both be true?
Oh. Wait. It's the "be true" part....it doesn't have to be true in the ideological universe.

Here on planet earth . . .
Does anyone really think that we are going to have a president who is a pro-choice, serial adulterer? The Republicans pioneered pioneered politics as the art of personal destruction. Now they will reap what they sowed. So what if Rudy's a jerk? It's his personal life that will kill him in the end.

Hillary is a trap

No,Starbuck is a trap. Harbinger of the apocalypse. Death of the human race.
Hillary is just an elected representative.

Hillary isn't near the bitch as Rudy thinks
First, to Anonymous of 11/27/07 at 8:43 a.m.: Yeah, Carmen McRae's would have been better, but Billy Joel's isn't too bad.
And to Zandru: You're right. I've not heard many details of the GOPs' platforms during their Fox interviews and their debates besides "We hate Hillary" and "We must be militarily vigilant and strong against the hate-filled hordes around the world, especially those oil-owning Muslims. And they should be Christians, anyway! ('Cause we are the champions.')"
If she gets the Dem nomination, I will vote for her, but may not like it as much as another Dem, but, oh well.
As to another Anonymous poster at 8:01: how can you call Hillary a liar when Bush/Cheney/the neocons lied us into Iraq, and now probably into Iran; their foreknowledge of 9/11; their knowledge of Abu Gharib; the firing of Federal prosecutors; Jeff Gannon; the outing of Plame; their mishandling of Katrina (WAIT UNTIL ATLANTA RUNS OUT OF WATER AND THEY HAVE NO PLAN NOR DO THEY CARE.); et cetera. And, BTW, where is that wascally wabbit Osama? "Look, I just don't spend much time thinkin' about him."
Finally, there is a strong, sometimes harsh, sometimes kinder, article about Hillary and her focus, work ethic, and management style at LATimes.com. Link is following, but be quick about reading it as they don't keep daily articles up for too many days.
(Oh, and Vanity Fair has had a couple of good articles about Rudy and also his current mistress, uh, third wife.)

Giuliani, a small correction
Polner states that Giuliani was back campaigning against Hillary within days of his prostate "surgery," but in fact aside from hormone shots to slow it down while he debated options, doctors did not treat his cancer (with radiation seed implantation)until November, by which time she was already NY's new Senator elect. And although the terrible and sad story of Mr. Dorismond showed again how mean-spirited Giuliani was (and is), the triple whammy of his diagnosis, the surprise (to everyone) announcement of his divorce, and the fact that he was happily enjoying the company of his mistress -- stories that just kept unrolling -- should not be underestimated. For example, that his lawyer at one point publicly described the dignified and clearly distressed Mrs. Giuliani as "screaming like a stuck pig" was particularly appalling. All in all a nauseating performance.

"Does anyone really think that we are going to have a president who is a pro-choice, serial adulterer?"
Do you mean Bill Clinton?
Acually I am not a Hillary fan, but I am impressed by the way she has been able to decrease the % of people that said they would not even consider voting for her. That seems hard to do.

Guiliani needs a new dentist
Most of the time, I think of myself as a serious voter, but I find it extremely hard to take a candidate of this stature seriously when I look at Rudy with that mouth full of oversized teeth. For goodness sakes, get a new dentist or enter the next Kentucky Derby! I would vote for Hillary any day over any of the Republican candidates especially since all of them have made Hillary the most important plank in their platform!

Serial adulterer
Okay, I guess I should have said a "Republican president who is a pro-choice serial adulterer." I have a very hard time believing that the social conservatives will vote for someone who is both of the above, AND on his third wife. And, don't forget, Bill Clinton was elected before we knew about him in such graphic detail. Giuliani left his wife for his mistress in a shockingly public way. Maybe that will be okay in New York. But elsewhere? I think not.

The Clintons kept their marriage together.
Rudy's on marriage number three. Have the Republicans really debased the country and the office of the President so much in the past 27 years that we've gone from having a once-divorced Republican in the White House to even considering having a thrice-divorced Republican in the White House -- and a Catholic, to boot? It's one thing to be a D-List movie star has-been with an amicable ex-wife in the distant past and another to be a world-renowned creep and religious hypocrite who treats women like garbage.
And this article left out the most defining moment of the Lazio fiasco: toward the end of the campaign, he fell on his face, literally, somehow -- I forget what happened -- and spent weeks campaigning with a prominent bandage and bruise across his face, looking exactly like a little boy who got beat up on the playgrund. That, more than the debate debacle, sealed the deal. Who's going to vote for someone who literally looks ridiculous?
