Democrats need to go liberal...for once and for the future...
So what that Hillary Clinton is prepared. Big deal. So she is a politician who has a staff that can organize a campaign. Democrats need for once to go liberal and forget about these middle-of-the-road, do-nothing moderates, who often leave conservative legacies. Like Hillary Clinton's husband. What is the lasting progressive legacy of the Bill Clinton years? Eight years wasted, with global trade that took American jobs and welfare reform that further abused the poor. A Democrat? You surely are joking. If the Democrats are stupid enough to elect a moderate conservative who continues the Iraq War, just as Nixon continued LBJ's war, then the Republican Party will re-emerge from its southern fundamentalist ruination and we progressives will once again wonder if we will EVER live to see a truly liberal, progressive president. The Democratic voters in Iowa and New Hampshire and the other primaries need to realize that, if they want to continue the lame conservatism of the last 40 years which has battered the middle class, forgotten about the poor, and rewarded the rich, then go to the center again. There is a reason that the young generation may not do as well as their parents' generation--it is because moderate and conservative presidents have done nothing for them or their future but bleed them dry of money and blood for ridiculous wars. No one ever tells me anymore that we just can't afford universal health care--they don't tell me that anymore because they have lived through the Iraq
War spending of billions and billions of dollars that could have gone for something better. John Edwards consistently talks about the poor and the problem of poverty. He is one of the few who does. When the economy turns to the south, and it probably will soon following the housing bubble burst, it will be more important than ever that our leadership gives a damn about regular people and has progressive ideas for making America better for ALL. I could give a rat's...well, whisker...about the preparation of Hillary Clinton. If she represents the same dismal record and moderate sell-out thinking that her husband offered, I know I want something better. Edwards/Obama sounds like a good progressive ticket to me. I don't believe the national TV media that go goofy over the Clintons, like they did over the Bushes. I don't believe the Eastern-based polls that put New York candidates ahead. Let's see if American voters want something better...for once and for the betterment of the future. How long do we need to wait?!

we need a wise president
Does the most powerful nation need a gun-totting shoot-from-the-hip cowboy president or a thinking mature president. Women knock Hillary because she should have left her husband because he cheated on her. She could have reacted like most American woman - left her husband, trashed him on national television and hired a laywer to take him to the cleaners - that is what most American women do. Instead she used her head, did not destroy her marriage, did not destroy her husband's career, did not destroy her own career and is now one of the leading contenders for the democratic nomination.
Who do you think should lead our nation? A gun-totting lying cowboy OR a woman who can use her head to make the right decisions? Who would you trust to make the right decisions in a crisis? Who would you trust period.

Yep: Edwards/Obama. Unbeatable. Hillary's a walking talking negative ad campaign. Dukes of Hazzard Thompson would "aw shucks" her into oblivion.

Another media outlet for Hillary's Political Ambition
I have no idea when Salon has converted into a Hillary propaganda machine?
I am tired of the omnipresence of Hillary on Salon's homepage. Are Salon a permanent outlet for Hillary's election campaign?
