That's Why I Call 'Em "Crotch Christians"
The continuing and perverse preoccupation with sex by the Repooplicans and their ilk never ceases to engender both humor and pathos. Their patrons...the Religious Right...mandate that certain issues take precedence over others for them to support a Conservative candidate. Consider:
The Religious Right deals primarily with abortion, pre-marital sex, gay/lesbian issues, adult pornography and more. For that reason, I've named them "Crotch Christians". Their motto should be: "If its between the navel and knee, its bad for you and me!" I'd even re-name "Focus On The Family" as "Focus On The Fanny."
As a Christian, I'd encourage my "Crotch Christian" brothers and sisters to drop the single-issue of sex and adopt the issues that matter most: hunger, poverty and the health of the poor and the forgotten.
Oh...you might also ask your "leaders" to be less hypocritical on the subject of sex by keeping it in their own pants.
