Memo to Alex Koppelman
Illegal aliens have committed a crime just by crossing the border without authorization, they are criminals just being here.If someone violates the security of another country by residing in the country illegally, why should they be expected to obey any other laws?
Driving unliscenced, driving unregistered and uninsured vehicles, driving under the influence, these are just a few of the crimes that illegal aliens commit at rates FAR higher han "native" Americans.
More legal US residents are killed by illegal aliens(mostly drunk drivers) every year than died on 9/11.
Big business interests want the continued influx of cheap labor to keep wages down.Big city welfare pimps want a flood of uneducated, unskilled non-English speakers to inflate the government assistance rolls, creating a never ending pool of dependency.
If the two major big government corporatist parties don't begin to take this issue seriously, I predict a backlash, sooner rather then later.

What is this Professor Smoking
I can't believe anybody nowadays can call themselves a professor and teach such unbelievable nonsense. To say that he tells his class, "Well we might as well kill all males and there will not be no more crime". He might as well said "Well, we might as well blow up the world and we won't have to deal with anymore problems. Come on Mr. Harvard Professor, get out of the classroom. Parents look at all that money you are paying out, and this moron Professor is laughing all the way to the bank.

Why does Geraldo always flak for illegals? He must be a racist.
The main reason the pro-illegal crowd gets so twitchy about deporting illegal alien prisoners (not undocumented) is that in their mind it sets the wrong precedent. If we can do it to a child killer we can do it to someone who has committed identity theft, is working illegally, and has overstayed their visa. I don't think I am going out on a limb by saying that most Americans don't want this guy here. I certainly don't.
Geraldo and many of his ilk are also against instant background checks for employment (the basic pilot program), building a fence along the US-Mexico border, for giving illegals breeder documents (drivers licenses, social security cards, etc.) and prohibiting police from arresting illegals and being pro-sanctuary city. In other words he wants as many people who look and sound like him here as possible irespective of whether or not they are welcome, wanted and needed by the majority (we are still a democracy, yes?).
His first tactic is to give a sob story. He likes to hold American born children of illegals out in front of the scofflaws like a shield but he did not like it too much when the tables where turned on him. He bellyaches about how we won't be able to do anything because Americans are so helpless as if I need him patronizing me. And when he is cornered he just calls anyone who disagrees with him a bigot.

"We Come Here Because You Go There." That was the slogan of immigrants, legal and otherwise, in Britain in the 1970s. It's even more applicable here and now. The point is that the economic and foreign policies of rich countries often make life unlivable elsewhere, leading to massive population transfers.
If we want to prevent these transfers, we need to change the policies, which should be pretty easy to do, especially because they don't benefit many of us either. Let countries develop like the Asian Tigers or Israel (and others) did, stop forcing Structural Adjustment Programs and "free trade" on them. Alternatively, treat them the way the European Union treated Portugal, Ireland, Greece, and other poorer countries when it brought them in to the Union: they were showered with an infrastructure blitz that dragged them into the First World and prevented massive emigration.
Make Trade Fair! There are no Illegal People!

No, we are in favor of LEGAL immigration
I think most of those who want to crack down on 'illegal immigration' are generally opposed to immigration (not just the illegal kind)
Wrong, wrong, WRONG!!! This is the polar opposite of the truth, and the biggest problem in this debate. Stop conflating legal immigration with illegal. I would support dramatically increasing the legal limit on immigrants. The problem is that we don't have any idea who is coming into the country and when. We definitely need background checks and a test to make sure they can support themselves.

A plea for sanity

How refreshing that local citizens not only support their mayor, but also understand the difference between municipal and federal governments.
The proper academic term for blaming the Scots-Irish (read: Appalachians) for the violence in the U.S. is "the 'Snuffy Smith' effect." You rarely saw Pa drive anything more powerful than a donkey-pulled wagon, but he always had that jug handy. Figures.

why we call them undocumented workers
Remember illegal aliens break at least one law every day by being in this country so they certainly are repeat law breakers. That is beside the law they broke when they originally entered the country. Do they not break another law by using false identification to acquire a job? I would assume that once a year they are also guilty of fraud since it would be impossible for them to file without committing perjury.
Take it from someone who lives in a NJ town that has been infested and overrun by illegal’s, they drive down the whole area. They live packed into housing in dangerous levels. In my town Freehold they run stores and restaurants from houses. Most of the time it is either political figures, lawyers, or police who own these houses where they live and run underground towns. When the town citizens try to pass laws all these action groups start law suits the towns back down and us tax paying citizen’s wind up with the quality of our life going down further and further.
They get to use so many types of food assistance that they have to break up their shopping into 5 or 6 separate groups in order to be able to pay for them separately to be in compliance with the programs, when I get stuck behind them on line it takes me an extra 15 minutes. If they live so many in a house and sharing the costs why do they need govt. assistance? Their living costs are far below mine due to the fraction they have to kick in for housing and stuff.
They drive down wages and also take away high school jobs. My property tax keeps going up to cover their kids schooling. My medical cost especially at the hospital; keep going up to cover their unpaid bills.
Forget about them learning English to communicate with the people in the land they are coming to. It seems all the other immigrants learned English and American customs when they arrived, but now we are expected to change to accommodate them. What’s going on here? Why don’t they put the same energy into improving their own country as they do getting into this country?
If we listen to their supporters they are only taking jobs Americans will not do, then how come they are moving into jobs that paid well and are now dropping wages on a continuous basis according to how many illegal’s they can find. Ask anyone in the meat packing sector.
Didn't Ronnie Raygun promise us an end to illegal aliens with his last amnesty program? I guess that's why we call them undocumented workers now..huh?
As a novel approach to sentencing illegal’s they should be made to spend 6 months building a wall along the border and then deported when their sentence is completed. This would greatly lower the cost of a border wall so that the govt. would actually build it. If we can make people work on chain gangs and road crews why not construction crews…heck they are taking most of the construction jobs so I know they have the experience. Which brings to mind that’s another job that Americans must no longer are willing to do since it seems illegal’s only take jobs we won’t do. I’m sure plenty of bleeding heart’s and corporate executives will have a lot of things to say about my thoughts, but remember ILLEGAL’S BREAK THE LAW EVERY DAY BY BEING HERE and no matter what you say you can’t change that fact!!!
