AIPAC should register as a foreign agent!
AIPAC should register as a foreign lobby group. Why on earth Olmert, a head of state other than US, is calling and trying to influence the lawmakers of the sovereign country of ours.

Israel is a foreign country
Anything odd about A FOREIGN COUNTRY having each and every US Presidential candidate contorting to eagerly sucks its dick..?
NOT the 51st state. NOT any kind of "sister nation". A FOREIGN COUNTRY.
Why does A FOREIGN COUNTRY have so much sway over our politicians? How much more wrong would things have to be in order for you to speak up..?
Israel is a FOREIGN COUNTRY.
OK, commence with the "anti-Semite" bashing...

Wow
What a bunch of scumbags! Dems and Republicans both! Selling out our country to another in such a blatant, obsequious way.
Nobody mentioned Edwards. Was he at this thing?
Obama, although he was there touting his "pro-Israel credintials," sounds like a much more sensible pro-American candidate than Hillary, though.

Maybe they're getting traction in Washington
but Isreal is losing the battle for hearts and minds in the rest of the United States. That doesn't bode well for them long term.
-
WTF???
These politicians take an oath to serve the people of the United States. Who says that the interests of any FOREIGN COUNTRY are identical to ours??? Why does AIPAC have more influence over our government than We the People??? Makes me sick to my stomach.

Cheney's sanity
I don't know if it's just the photos the media has been publishing of him (if a person isn't popular it's always the bad photos which get published), but Dick Cheney is looking more and more unhinged lately.
Am I alone in this assessment?

It's true...
That this lobby exerts an undue influence on American foreign policy. But 6,000 people -- that's what a mid-level rock band draws at a mid-level venue on the road.
The Israel lobby is very vocal and wields a mean checkbook, but if the American people wanted to get up off their asses and say, "No more!" -- but that isn't going to happen, is it.

does the dog walk the man?
israel does the U.S. bidding not the other way around. till '67 israel's arms came from france. after the war the U.S. decided, hey! they can be our proxy. remember iran/contra? well israel was in the center of that. helpful when Congress forbade reagan from arming them. that too involved a bush. most jews (and israelis) want to get rid of the west bank, they just don't know *how*. i think america, if it wanted to, could aid in that disentanglement. it just doesn't want to. as for iraq and iran, jews are *fearful* of them. you can call it paranoia or you can call it history, you can even call it unjustified, but it's real and jews are people too. as for why Obama recently said, "Nobody is suffering more than the Palestinian people", i'd have to know the context not just the sentence. obama's smart, he'd never say anything so obviously untrue (suffer more than darfurians? suffer more than the north koreans?)

great pic
there's just something about that crazed blood-thirsty look in cheney's eyes....and the fact that his left upper lip is almost always curled upwards, like a rabid dog, makes him look all the more like the (insert any description of evil here) that he is.
and i have to admit, it's awfully disheartening to hear such a ruckus for christian-zionists. talk about brain-washed...first their rapist-priests and now the in-human zionist movement. the only comment worth mentioning is: poor poor tiny infant jesus - bastardized into a justification for death and hate.

The Euphoria of Self-Deception and WashDC False Flag Politics
Such euphoria surely must be representative of some
mighty great and truthfilled thinking--is this not so?
Judging from the attendees and the attending political
types ranging from D.Cheney to H.Clinton you just know
this is a WashDC main event--the "superbowl" of events
for any "serious" DC politician. Gosh darn--to have
missed it too. So 6,000 get to pretty much set American
ME politics, policies and outcomes? Is this not the gist
of AIPAC's reach in WashDC? The next 60,000 or the next
600,000 who may not be so exuberant about how AIPAC sees
American "interests" in ME likely not having nearly so
much influence with the WashDC movers and shakers then?
Well...ok...Israel obviously gets the trophy for one
smoothly conducted orchestration of WashDC politics and
the American militarism in ME that has spawned from the
politics AIPAC,the Israeli hard right Likudnik types and
the God Loving,End of Days types desire. Perhaps it is
time for Israel to pony up some hard tax money for all
this jubilant triumphalism. Maybe come up with--oh say--
perhaps 50,000 troops to be deployed to Iraq for the
glorious occupation and subjugation of that country that
seems a bit stuck these days. As for an invasion of Iran
that evidently is truly a "hot button" issue for many
who support AIPAC's view of the ME lets see Israel fully
linked up with American militarism and firepower when
that moment of glorious "being smitten" should begin.
That ought to clearly show the Muslim world and likely
many Arab countries,Iran and Pakistan who is out to make
trouble for them in ME. Israel wanting to play with
fire may then find itself being put to the flames that
it surely will not find very glorious. Back there in the
1930's in Nazi Germany a group of enthused and very, very
dedictated Germans mounted some spectacular rallies and
supportive get-togethers. The pageantry and political
triumphalism was very powerful for that time and still
is seen today as having been superbly mounted with much
artifice and unity of theme being used. The enthusiasm
of the Germans who attended and roared to A.Hitler's
enthralling oratory was seen by some as silly or not
grounded in the eras reality. The day did come when
such under-estimations were proven terribly wrong. Let
us hope AIPAC,zealot Israelis and 6,000 attendees do
not drag the rest of we Americans pass the Gates of
Hell into the engulfing flames of a ME regional war
that fully exceeds the current American Debacle in Iraq.
