    John Edwards is the only democrat who can win in a general election

    Perhaps Hillary Clinton is so far ahead that she will become the inevitable democratic candidate. If this is the case then she is likely to lose the general election against a mainstream Republican candidate like McCain or Giuliani. This is also true of Barrack Obama.

    Among the Democrats only John Edwards has the appeal to win in the general election.

    I am betting and hoping that John Edwards will emerge as the Democratic candidate.
