can we just once in a fkg lifetime quit this circle of firing squad? I am so tired of the left bashing Democrats. Do you want another 4 or more years of the GOP or what.

Get over it?
Get over one of the defining mistakes of our generation of leaders? Was it a youthful indiscretion? (god, I really wish she would come out and just say, "yes, I voted for war, but I was incredibly drunk at the time, and I'm sorry"). I, and every progressive I know, was opposed to the war from the start and knew if would be the abyss that it was become, and she was a FUCKING U.S. SENATOR and should have known as much. She shouldn't just apologize for authorizing the war, but for having always been an opportunistic poll-driven weasel. If she would apologize for THAT, then I might like her.

that Joan Walsh must have kicked and screamed before approving this article. Had Obama been in Hilary's shoes, Salon would have put out full page anti-Obama ads in the NYT.

It's What She Didn't Know that Matters
At the risk of engaging in "Democrat bashing" and so risking our having to accept an honest candidate regardless of party, the truth is that Hillary Clinton did not know that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction. No one else knew it either. Insufficient proof had been offered even by the lying administration and its simpering catamites. Simply saying it was so was enough for a substantial majority of members of Congress (and both parties) to give the President his Blank Check. It was as though they had been hypnotized by this inarticulate little man - except that they hadn't been; they were merely playing politics and going with the tide of lynch mob fury which had gripped the Executive branch and which they believed had spread to the general public - the precious electorate. So they handed the man the gun, and he proceded to use it. They did not know - not any of them - that Saddam Hussein had anything other than some suspect aluminum tubes. This much is certain. We went to war, dismantled a sovereign nation, and lit off the entire middle east over some non-descript aluminum tubes and some wishful thinking and the notion that the war would play well with the electorate.
Every legislator who had a hand in this disgraceful rush to judgement based upon the flimsiest of evidence owes the world an apology at least. Those of them who would grope for the brass ring of the Presidency owe more than that: they owe us a sincere confession that they did this not only without sufficient evidence, but for the basest of reasons.
Hillary Clinton has now dug herself so deeply into the Big Lie that she cannot reasonably be considered as an alternative to the lunatic now occupying the Oval Office. The best she could do would be to stand aside and return to doing her otherwise good work representing the state of New York.
Bash a Democrat? For god's sake, we are trying to fill a gaping hole in the main artery of our national honor! We should not entertain anyone as a candidate for President who ever supported this atrocity and still refuses to acknowlege that he or she did not know enough to give the President the green light to turn Iraq inside out, yet went ahead and did it anyway.
Plenty of us out here on the ground knew that we didn't know, and that was enough to make us willing to wait until the evidence was in before even considering such a move, but no one asked us. A majority of those who work for us in Congress took it upon themselves to curry favor with the worst among us and nothing else really matters.

Get over what? I for one don't want another Bush, even if she is named Clinton, in the White House.
She refuses to acknowledge she was wrong.
Her conceit is so great she thinks campaign money should be returned because someone critized her. Did geffin commit mass murder? Child molestation? Bribe elected officials? No, just criticized Hillary, and she tells Obama he should return the money.
How do you spell hubris? Thanks but no thanks, this issue reveals the true Hillary, I'll pass.

If you've read Dune by The great Frank Herbert you realize he was a visionary and a prophet..Arakus..Iraq..The Spice the Oil, The secret groups such as the Tri-Lateral Commission and Bilderbergers the same and The Spacing Guild The Emperor, "Plans within plans" it's all there..
Ok so Iraq was a trap and Red China and Russia want us there as much as al-Qaeda..does and others who just wait to betray and the U.S. and see it fall and no longer be a super power..
Now how does Hillary fit into this well Bill Clinton is a member or was of The Tri-Lateral Commission and both parties refuse to address the moves that are more and more destroying the middle and working classes and advocate real border security instead now we will have Mexican truckers driving all over the U.S. and having driven for UPS myself I know just how much this will endanger every American on the road with trucks unfit by our standards..
What I am saying is this, is Hillary a Judas Goat of The Tri-Lateralists and their New World Order..The Bush Family Mafia's chosen one, to make us think there will be an election..and not a coronation of Jeb Bush who will replace Cheney any time now..?
Isn't Hillary sucking the money out of the system as the beard of the Bush Family Mafia and keeping an candidate for change from ever getting off the ground..you bet she is she's sucking up the money like a black hole..!
Why was Bill Clinton so silent when Bush was trying to destroy Social Security, what do the Bush Family Mafia have on Bill Clinton selling our missile designs to Red China and the nose cone technology and the ability to create mini warheads all hidden in a Commerce Bill as the Congressional record shows from 1999..!
Isn't it all already decided who will represent the Democrats in 2008..and by who The Clintons, The Bushes.. certainly not us We The American People and life long Democrats..like me, and so many others..!
