    You didn't "have to quit".

    Your cowardice in the face of politics should embarass you. You took a job in a political campaign, and caved in when some rightwing nutjobs started making fun of you.

    If Edwards didn't offer you his support, then he's a quitter, too.

    You allowed your political opponents to create the agenda, define your ideas, and destroy your credibility. When you could have spoken out and refuted their screeds, you didn't. You ran away, and then from the safe haven of a liberal stronghold, you launched your whining self-defense.

    Stay out of politics. Stay out of public debate. You're obviously not meant for it, and you give real liberals a bad name.
