If you wanted to send an ominous message to your opponents ("We can reach out and touch you whereever you are..."), Litvinenko's murder is an outstanding move. That it yells "Putin" or "FSB" in so obvious a way could be quite intentional. If I'm sitting in Moscow responsible for this act, what do I care if the western media is distracted for a few weeks from its normal focus on the trivial? What will Britain do if their investigation points to high places in Russia? Nothing. This too will pass. When it does, I can consider my message well and loudly delivered.

How many Americans were Poisioned to Death today in Iraq? Wait until NEXT YEAR for an answer, they are pondering which poison to distribute to the NEWS, hose FOXie dogs!

Let us look at the facts, as they were reported in various newspapers. Litvinenko, the KGB officer but not a spy (he never mastered English in London) worked in counter-organized-crime division - an analog of FBI, not CIA. In London, he did not have any legal job, yet he owned a house, wear expensive dresses, frequently visited bars. He suddenly converted himself to Islam, but no one claim that he was religious. He was hungry for money, came out with various projects including blackmailing Russian politicians and business people. He could not have any "proofs" but undocumented rumors about events in today's Russia.

His contact, Lugovoy, is a rich businessman (it is reported that he owns $75 million) and he does not look as a paid assassin. But he made his quick fortune in an unknown way. Italian "professor" Skaramello is also a dark horse. He is an expert in weapon smuggling, political scandals, he is under investigation in Italy...

Litvinenko's dead bed letter is unbelievable. The vocabulary is not Russian at all, and it is simply impossible that a dying men will say all these curly politically correct phrases. The letter come out after his death and it looks like a cheap fake.

What happened? I think, that the group were involved in a smuggling operation, probably weapons or military technology. The buyer was an Islamic country, which explain Litvinenko's sudden love to Islam. Some secret service agency eliminated the group which was indeed dangerous for UK, USA, Israel, may be Moscow. The needed smoke included a transformation of a KGB officer into a noble dissident. Putin is proclaimed guilty before an investigation starts. Reason: Because he is a killer, period. I only hope that the real investigation continues and the nonsense of sadistic Russian rulers will not prevent to find what can be a big fish.

However, most likely we will never learn the true story. Well, at least it gives a material for a detective story.

A renegade spy, involved in cloak-and-dagger affairs in his country of exile or adoption, has been bumped off. Should this be remotely surprising? Is it somehow unprecedented? Mr. Litvinenko was not a major political figure - he was simply a spy and a defector. He met a fate that spies and defectors must surely anticipate, and not just in Bond films and Le Carre novels. It baffles me that this so-called "story" has dominated the headlines in England (and now in America) for weeks. Why the hell should anybody give a damn?

Prior to the Gutenberg press ideas, news items, political rhetoric, religion, etc. all passed through a filter of common appeal by redistribution. If it wasn't worth writing down or saying 100 times then it was likely you didn't have to hear about it. "Control" of media and information was very difficult for even the most ambitious. Since the printing press, radio, TV, internet the ability to disseminate information has become industriously efficient.

The capitalist economy sensationalizes what the political and commercial agendas skew. What we concider to be "journalistic freedoms" may stem from governmental controls of the past but it is not government we are against, it is the misinformation that we are poisoned with and that does not stop at government but includes all instances where media might have ulterior motives.

Whatever Russia's law may be, whatever the law maybe anywhere in the western world, there is a lot of tolerance for what could be considered colored media influences. And the critically thinking among us take from it what we feel is of intrest. If in hind sight there was bad media it is very difficult to retract. If there was something missing it is much easier to introduce without contradictions.

I'm having a difficult time believing that Russia did this. I'm certainly no apologist for Russia or Putin. But I just can't believe that Putin would poison someone by such a stupid, obvious and difficult method. There are much easier ways that Putin could have used to kill someone, I can think of other more plausible ways of killing other than thru the use of Polonium.

For example a simple staged street robbery and murder would make far more sense, as would the use of those poisons that are untraceable because they disappear shorlty after they do the job.

This is such an obvious poisoning that it seems highly unlikely to have been done by Putin and his KGB friends since the KGB or whatever it's now called is one of the two most sophisticated spy/ assasination/ intel/ counter-intel agencies in the world with the Mossad being the other. Then I wonder about other groups who might have done this such as the now clearly sinking and obviously shamed George Bush and his Republicans who have total control over our CIA.

To my way of thinking their are only a few other agencies that could have done this. These would include one of the Israeli agencies(Mossad) who are as equally sophisticated as the KGB. Then there are other agencies on the second tier of sophistication which include the CIA or some similar U.S gov't group that 'we the people' don't even know about yet, just as we did not know about the Able Danger group and so many other secret things and groups under control not of Congress but the Bush gov't.

The other possibility is a British agency such as MI6. But then I ask myself, if it were the British they most certainly would not have done such a thing on their own soil which would put them in a direct line of obvious suspicion.

So in summary, the two groups most likely to have caused or somehow been complicit in these poisoning(s) are the Bush/Cheney/Neocons/Theocrats(they keep Bush in power and protected)and/or the Israeli warhawks. It is these two groups that are at the very center of what is causing the Holocaust that is going on in the Middle East where hundreds of thousands of people have been killed and so many more will be killed as long as George Bush is in office and even thereafter if the Repubs can put another Repub like McCain or Jeb Bush into office.

I have no doubt in my mind that religious fundamentalism is a danger to all human life especially those groups here in America who are aligned with the radical right wing Republican Party and it's publicly stated desire to destroy all opposition to themselves, thus turning America into a 'Republican Theocracy'with George Bush as king and the entire Bush family as the reigning monarchs somewhat similar to the Windsors in England but far more powerful and dangerous as the Bush family will hold all the levers of power while the Repub controlled COTUS and SCOTUS are just extensions of Bush family power.

That conspiracy between the right wing Repubs(of which almost all are very right wing) and the right wing religious is not only a conspiracy but is a clearly evil(axis of evil) conspiracy in both the religious and political senses.

How could any religion ever align itself with any political party which so egregiously goes about doing damage and destruction to american citizens via actions like the secret CIA torture prisons around the world and the torture legislation(MCA)and the constant shredding of our very cherished U.S. Constitution as well as the continuous erosion of our democratic values and democratic institutions. Nevertheless these two very fundamentalist evangelical religious groups are totally complicit with the Repub party which has been so radical and so dangerous since the days of Reagan.

I call for all the fundamentalists to war and kill each other and leave the other 90% of us in the world alone so that we may live in peace and gain some prosperity for the poor in the world, Including the poor here in our very own country, and the poor in Mexico, Central and South America and the poor in Africa which these political/religious fundamentalists care nothing about as they squander our planet, our resources, our monies and our people to wage their evil fundamentalist wars.

'We the people' don't need or want you fundamentalists, you are a scourge and an abomination unto God and man.

As we have all seen the support of the radical religious right evangelical fundamentalist and jihadist religions(Catholic and southern white Baptists) that constantly support the Republican party and it's very frequent use of Nazi/KKK and white supremacist tactics right here in America (Patriot Act=surveillance of the library books we read=the Nazi book burning, and the constant attacks on science and universities and the media by the Bush/Republican party and those two religious groups that support them so vehemently as they go about forcing democracy on the Middle East peoples at the barrel of a gun(so to speak)and for their oil as re-enforced in the report of the Iraq Study Group.

Pray for the downfall and end of these political/ religious fundamentalists, Republicans, Catholics and white southern Baptists(eg. Falwell, Robertson, Brownback, Santorum and so many other fundies rampant in America). I live in daily fear of these people and pray everyday for the end to their power and the destruction they are wreaking here and around the world as they constantly violate the laws of God and the teachings of Jesus.
