    Conspiracy theories

Scarborough's politics are far to the right of mine and I don't agree with much he says, but I think people are wrong going around labeling him a murderer and adulterer. If you critically examine those conspiracy theory websites, they don't really offer any solid proof that Scarborough harmed Ms. Klausutis (he was in Washington D.C. when she passed away in his Florida office) or that he was having an adulterous relationship with the aide. In his book, Scarborough says he barely knew her and only saw her at a few public events. Scarborough's first wife separated from him in 1997 and divorced him in 1999, so it seems his marriage was well over before the aide passed away in July 2001. The medical examiner declared there was no foul play and that she died of heart failure and fell against a desk, causing injury to her head. Klausutis' husband told a local newspaper that he was satisfied with the ME's findings. Neither he nor Klausutis' family have ever accused Scarborough of any wrongdoing. I'm sure Scarborough makes lots of money at his TV job and if they really had a case, this woman's family would figure out how to sue him for all he's worth.

I honestly don't think people really care about the aide. She's just a tool to smear Scarborough and to vent about the whole Condit/Levy scandal. And to be fair, hasn't the Right tried to smear Democrats by spinning murder conspiracies around Vince Foster, Ron Brown, and the Chappaquiddick incident? Shouldn't we be better than the neocons?
