  • "Democrats promise a 'bruising fight'"..?

    Why do I picture a group of effete Ivy League types in expensive traditional tennis whites after a set sipping weak tea and nibbling cucumber sandwiches with the crusts removed..? A "brusing fight"? Does that mean harsh language..?

    I don't see any Democrat so much as raising their voice. How can people live with so much of their vitality drained away..?
