I am sorry i said people sounded like "bitter lunatics." that was a bad choice of words. Everyone is great and wonderful. I love you all.
But...
Can someone please give me some concrete examples of evil things that Spector has done other than complaining about Bush and then failing to get anything done about it?
Please, educate me. I promise I won't call anyone a lunatic.
Can someone show me a Democrat who has complained about Bush and done something about it that actually worked?
Can someone show me ANYONE who has complained about Bush and then done something about it that actually had an effect? - other than the recent Supreme Court ruling (where they delivered a giant bitch smack).

He's as phony as John McCain
Specter comes across as all progressive and feisty but in the end we know where his allegiances lie. I also think the knee cap breakers come a calling every so often to these gents from the Bush Crime Family. Maybe not so much with McCain who is slightly more independent of them, but McCain has his eyes on the prize so he just goes where the power is.

Spinning
Specter's initial tough talk never does walk the walk. Every time he blusters about Preznit National Embarrassment and his puppetmaster Dick breaking the law, and how he and Congress are going to put a stop to it, gosh darn it, he ends up days or weeks later mumbling about how the President vitally needs the authority to wipe his ass with the Constitution, and then he rolls over and shows off his soft white underbelly. For all the spinning Senator Rollover engages in, he should hook himself up to a turbine. He could probably supply enough power to keep all his constituents' houses lit from now until the end of his term.

Arlen Specticle and SELECTIVE JUSTICE
Having written to Senator Specter years ago concerning an incident. A DISK JOCKEY had Murdered his Girlfriend and Mr. Specter made it possible for the Murderer to escape to France (the land of Freedom Fries, where Asylum would be granted); I never did receive a reply, but then again, I am merely an American Citizen and not a Resident of Pennsylvania.
Our Justice in America sought out the Murderer as did Interpol, eventually after roaming the European North Country, England, Ireland and then returning to France, he was arrested and somehow returned to the USA.
The Dead and Decomposing Body of the "Girlfriend" had been found in a Foot Locker in the Apartment where they had both lived. "I have slept since then...", is my only excuse for forgetting the name of the DJ, his girlfriend or the time or place where MR. SPECTER defended and denied and first started his program of "SELECIVE JUSTICE". However, the facts on this one incident of many can be found, and my hope is that the story is indicative of the present actions of Senator Arlan Specticle and his Party Goers.

i lived in pennsylvania during that case. i remember it. no one feels like specter carried out selective justice and secondly that doesn't say anything about his political record.
the fact is - this thread is full of a bunch of neocon trained parrots who dont like specter or mccain. im not fooled anymore.
the real villians: neocons. not moderates like mccain and specter.

Arlen Specter, what a waste
Arlen Specter will leave a legacy of spineless submission to his friends in the Bush government. Specter like all Repubs believes in being a Repub first and an American last.
I remembered how he slaughtered Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearings. My sense of revenge would be satisfied if the Dems came to power and put Anita Hill on the Supreme Court. We need a woman on the Court and a black woman would be just great. Of course the red neck confederate southerners would go crazy, but that would be fine with me. They have done many years of damage to America along with tiny head, we don't do nuance or read anything, George Bush.
