Letters to the Editor

actually...
you know... i read my first post and i have to say, i kind of sounded like a dick. so i am sorry about that. let me take back the "sorry if you are upset democrats lost" comment - because i am a democrat and i am actually sorry that democrats lost myself heheh.
i didnt actually mean to attack anyone, except the person who was making fun of PA voters. I don't agree that pa voters are crazy. I think it's a big state with alot of good people. (ok maybe a little crazy for santorum - but hopefully he gets out or gets struck by lightning or whatever).
i see people zeroed in on my "but he's a republican comment" - ok you are right - he is still a senator. i was kind of joking there because what it comes down to for me is this...
i just don't think Specter is that bad a senator and nothing in the article and no one's comments have swayed that opinion yet.
i think he has done alot of good stuff. maybe i am wrong... maybe the specter watch list is a good idea. maybe i am ignorant. i am willing to change my opinion. i think he is more a classical conservative than a neocon and frankly that don't bother me. i mean, i think ALL politicians are inherently evil liar sociopaths... but as far as that goes, i think he is one of the less evil.
i also think that if we really want anyone to do anything, against bush we need a democrat majority - we can't rely on a 75 year old republican senator from PA to do that job (sorry - thats just a fact). that's all i really meant when I made that comment. Yes, senators should be great people. Yay senators!
So again - not trying to apologize for Specter or make people think he is cool or dope or fresh or whatever you kids call it these days. And I'm not trying to have static with any mofos. I just wanted to voice that I don't think he is a bad Senator and that I think Compromise is something that people should learn the art of better because its a lost art these days.
