Letters to the Editor

At a forum in New York, pundits and politicians called for the impeachment of George W. Bush.
  • Please....

Please, for the love of all that is holy, get Bush impeached...

    -- Write your Congressman

    -- Call your Congressman

-- Donate to a political cause trying to impeach him (one of your choice)

    -- Write your Congressman again

-- Write to newspapers and get your letters published by saying something intelligent and interesting about the matter

-- Participate in action committees and other grass-roots political groups that are doing things you agree with

-- Get yourself elected to a political position and make good things happen

-- Email Congressmen, politicians, media groups, and others who have cultural and political influence

-- Do something creative that expresses a cogent point about social ills

-- Walk across the country wearing an "Impeach Bush" T-shirt. Get yourself on every major media and have something thoughtful, forceful and un-flakey to say when they interview you

-- Educate yourself, then your family and friends, about what is really going on (don't preach, just inform and challenge others to learn)

-- Send a CARE package to the U.S. serviceman of your choice. Give them all sorts of goodies and then include a note that tells them, with calm and thoughtful reasoning, why you think the war is a U.S. policy disaster but why you support the troops anyway. Don't be smug or self-righteous, but get out your message, because if anybody needs to hear clear thinking, it is the people stuck in Iraq and force-fed Rush Limbaugh type programming and mentality
