They're all the same

Your article showed that arbitrary hatred and jingoism know no creed. The Israelis(primarily Jews) are racist and expansionist, the Palestinians(primarily Muslims) are suicidal and anti-Jewish, conflating Judaism and Israel, and Lebanese Christians are full of vitriol for whatever group happens to be convenient.

The Middle East itself is a viral sickness. It is an inhospitable, arid region that has spawned 3 of the most destructive forces in human history--Judaism, Christianity and Islam. People are fighting not just over territory, but also finite resources.

Oh well, at least everyone can agree to hate Syria--It really does suck.

Yes, They are ALL the same.

They are two obsitinate brutes from opposite side of the fences.I dont understand them (The Jews & the Palestines), History never understood them, & Future History will never either.Let them shoot each other & suicide bomb each other to their hearts content--until they--themselves get tired of it, nothing fruitful will come about.Meanwhile, we the objective outsiders or civilised audiences will sit in our comfy living rooms reading them in Salon dot com, watch them on CNN, & shake our heads in a pitiful smug Condescending way!

I know I'm right

It's spelt "obstinate." I'm Jewish and I've lived in Israel; I have some idea whereof I speak. And though I never claimed they're not understandable, in fact the whole thing is all too understandable within history's scope, I agree with you, let them kill each other until they're bored or there are none left.

Hello pot? This is kettle...

Israel is expansionist and Palestinians are anti-Jewish and let them all kill each other while we civilized folk sadly shake our collective heads, drive our SUV's, and shop shop shop!

How are "we" any different? What is the US doing, running around Iraq? Are "we" expansionist? Oh no, we're bringing democracy to the middle east.

Hatred and violence are human diseases. The natural state of the world is war, not peace. It's sad and brutal, but don't think you're above it.
