Whenever you write to a Representative or Senator add the following text below to your letter or petition. This will tell the senators and representatives that you will use the power of your purchases to leverage the legislation or action you want done. Also contact the
CEOs of these companies listed below and demand that they get the RNC accede to these demands or they lose a large part of their customer base.
We demand that you get the Republican Party to hold a press conference and accede to these demands. Until such a press conference happens and the legislation gets passed we will boycott products from Republican contributors Walmart, Wendy’s, Outback Steak House, Dominos Pizza, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Eckerd, CVS and Walgreens, Curves for women health clubs, GE and Exxon/Mobil.
[ Please pass this on to others. Thank you. ]

If the political will to impeach Bush & Cheney does not materilize in the coming weeks, we will indeed be a "retreat & defeat generation".
Let us all raise our voices over and over again to demand the President and the Vice-President of the United States are but one branch of our government and must obey the law. Never in my life did I think our country would acquiese to our government torturing & murdering prisoners, arresting people for years without bringing charges or allowing access to due process in any form, and so many other un-American offenses.
The Bush Administration's policies, actions & philosophies are truly a clear and present danger to us and our Constitution.
Should this King George not have letters of impeachment served upon him and Vice President Cheney then it is imperative that we write to our "Repre-
presentatives' demanding that this be done immediately. Should this be ignored by our 'Representatives' we should take to the streets poste haste!
Should we not demand their immediate impeachment we risk losing all that this country has ever stood for in the eyes of the world .

By all means we should write letters to all our
relevant political representatives. Assuming those representatives support Bush's theory of
'King for a Term', we should think about our Plan
B, our Plan C, and beyond.
I especially liked the idea of setting up a
temporary 3rd party for election 2006 only, the
Impeachment Party. How might that work in detail?
For a start, which districts would it run people
in? Republican-held only? Republican AND Democratic if the Democrat in question doesn't
believe 'Impeachment Is Job One'?
And if all that is tried and fails? Give up?
Do nothing further? Or think about how to identify Bushublican-connected industries and
bussinesses? And target them for economic extermination through non-violent boycotts designed to remain in force for as long as the
targeted companies fail to go bankrupt and disappear? Blue people will have to think about
how much economic pain they are willing to suffer
in order to inflict permanent crippling damage
upon the Bushite enemy.
As an observer from "north of the 49th", I am fascinated with the prospect that Bush might not be impeached. I would have hoped that, despite differences over economic and social policy, the left and right in any democracy could agree on the simple notion of the rule of law. If the president is above the law, everyone is.
My country is going through an election campaign right now where the sitting PM is in trouble due to a scandal involving parts of his own party, although not necessarily the PM himself. Had the PM came out and admitted that he had broken laws and violated the constitution and was going to continue to do so, he wouldn't last another day in office.
One reader described America as being at a constitutional Rubicon. How true. Either Bush is impeached, or America has become what it critics claim; an autocratic empire, with rigged elections, and bread and circuses for the masses.
Dear Michelle,
It goes even deeper here and no one I've heard yet has said this out loud.
Read Tom Daschle's op-ed today in the WP.

Read it carefully...
"Congress chose instead, on Sept. 14, to authorize "all necessary and appropriate force against those nations, organizations or persons [the president] determines planned, authorized, committed or aided" the attacks of Sept. 11."
If evidence were presented that Bush & his flying monkeys conspired to change or even influence reports and investigations to prove that Saddam Hussein was linked to the attackers of 9/11, then the war is illegal and Bush is under indictment.
If the Valerie Plame case somehow proves that the administration doctored evidence and tried to discredit Plame & Wilson for trying to bring this to the attention of the world, then W would forever be spoken of with the title "disgraced former President."
yes/no?
I objected to Morin's statement that a political leader had to call for impeachment before he could conduct a poll on the question. I can't see how that could reasonably be taken to imply that he should take his cue from John Conyers.
Quite the opposite; I don't even understand why it's necessary to have a public figure trigger the poll. I'd suggest that one good reason to conduct a poll about impeachment would be an expectation that the number of "yes" answers would be significant.
I also live in Central Valley California = GOP
HELL!
These people are so enamored with W that he could shoot their Mother, and they would still vote for
and stand for him. The only reason we are losing
our rights, our beloved Constitution is because of ignorant people who fall for "personality".
I think this jerk is the biggest NERD to ever walk down the highway! (as if he ever did! He
always had a nice car provided by Daddy or Daddy's friends!)
Know we cannot impeach him -- it isn't that Dems are weak -- just not enough of them. GOP is
scared to death of the White House.
All I have left are prayers to God -- yes, Virginia, even Dems believe in God and pray to him. Think since the Bushies gained POWER, even
God has forsaken us!
