Halliburton and its subcontractors hired hundreds of undocumented Latino workers to clean up after Katrina -- only to mistreat them and throw them out without pay.
  • Gulf Coast Slaves and Haliburton

What a surprise? Illegal immigrants lured into doing the jobs Americans should be doing with promises of $1,200 a week plus room and board, and then I heard the job offers are from a subsidiary of Haliburton (which I call Satan's Realm). Obviously folks, there were no $1,200 a week jobs, because American citizens from all four corners of the country would have swarmed into the Gulf coast for them. I know I would. It's more than I make at my job.

Personally, folks, go and sell any shares of stock on this company, because it needs to die a quick death. And shame on Louisiana and Texas for allowing this sort of stuff to happen. This is not the America I knew and loved. Shame on all of us if we do not speak up and complain about this. Enough and enough.
