Given that most Salon readers are presumably in favour of conservation, I wonder how many of them are potential customers for the grossly hideous and wasteful Chevrolet HHR advertised with today's Day Pass. I wonder, too, if Salon has a policy on acceptable advertising. I guess there is some irony to be enjoyed in General Motors paying to advertise this horrible thing to an audience highly unlikely to ever buy it - thanks guys.
