The host of "Hell's Kitchen" is a good chef, lost beneath his own shtick.
  • Julia, The Waffle House Cook

I was just rewatching a few episodes of Hells Kitchen on Fox Reality, and the only redeeming thing about that show last season was Julia the Waffle House cook. She could actually cook, she just didn't have any frou-frou training. When she was eliminated (I think she got down to being one of the final three) Ramsey promised to send her to Culinary school. He was so effing nice.

I love the BBC Kitchen Nightmares. I don't remember him swearing as much on that show, and the best part is the voiceover. I don't cook, and I have no interest in opening a restaurant, but you can learn alot about business listening to him. I'll probably watch Hells Kitchen tonight, though. Maybe there will be another Julia.
