Porn in a flash

A troubling surge in creepy "upskirt" photography has lawmakers in a twist -- and the body parts of women posted all over the Internet.

The letters thread is now closed.

Back to my main point:

Men who are power and control rapists (see work by Nicolas Groth) are similar to upskirters because they want to assert power over women's bodies. One difference of course is that they get a kick out of doing this without women knowing. In other words, putting one over on the woman, outsmarting her, stalking her, and then "humiliating" her (even though she may never know this) is part of what excites them.

Obviously, men can see all sorts of porn on the internet. They can view completely naked women and they can even view people having sex. If panty shots are what turns them on, then they can see posed panty shots.

It is hatred, anger, and fear of women -- and of course sexual insecurity -- which makes a certain sort of man enjoy those upskirt shots in which women are victimized. What else can it be when there are women so obviously willing to volunteer for such photography.

Having done much reading on incest, I have becomen of the opinion that some fathers and step-fathers, though they have ready access to sex from their wives, actually molest their daughters to express their rage towards women and even their anger towards their wives. After all, what is the appeal of a nine year old girl?

She can't fight back. She is easier to manipulate. She is in his control in the way that a grown woman can never be. It is power and control.

Power and control rapists, upskirters, and incest abusers all have the similarity that power -- an unequal relationship -- is their primary motivation for their crimes.

Of course they would want us all to think that it is sex -- their overwhelming sex drive.

@Aka Smith -- So...

Do you prefer little BOYS or little GIRLS?

Wednesday, November 26, 2008 12:53 PM

@Aka Smith -- Maybe

Maybe you like 'em BOTH at the same time.

(You're such a STUD-ess)

Wednesday, November 26, 2008 12:57 PM

@Aka Smith -- I'm Impressed

You seem to know a lot about how to RAPE little GIRLS. I reckon that's how you've spent most of your time?

Wednesday, November 26, 2008 12:59 PM

@Aka Smith -- What to Do?

How do you DEAL with a FEMALE RAPIST anyway?

Do you cut out her OVARIES?

Maybe CUT off her FINGERS?

What's the best way to handle it?

women like AKA love to couch their arguments in phony boxes, ignoring the bigger picture.

You will notice that whenever a woman writes about the TRUE statistics about sexual assaults by men -- which far, far outnumber sexual assaults by women against either males or females (adults or children), they mention that women too have committed these offenses. The molestation by women of their daughter is so small statistically as to be a blip on the screen -- and even those usually involve women who are merely complicit with acts which are initiated by men.

I have actually read one of the books that Mr. E. mentions because I have done a great deal of reading in the area of sex crimes. I am a former victim advocate and a Court-Appointed Special Advocate for children. I have given speeches, written articles, and attended seminars on sexual assaults.

Women obsess over sexual assaults, because they know women look somewhat better in this regard.

But ANY assault, be it sexual or not, BE IT PHYSICAL OR NOT, is negative.

Given that many women use nonsexual assault against their own kids, use belittling language or twisted psychological maneuvering against their own kids or spouses, the stats become much more equivalent.

Indeed, many studies seem to indicate that, if anything, men and women assault other people virtually at roughly the same rate.

So, AKA destroys her own arguments by placing her precious stats into a small limiting cubicle rather than looking at the whole picture.

Let's not even get into how many boys and men never report the abuses women perpetrate since these boys and men have been TRAINED by women to 'act tough', to not be cry babies.

Gee, maybe many of the sexual assaulters are former kids of ABUSIVE MOTHERS. After all, in so many of these cases there are virtually NO former dads who stuck around, much less positive male role models.

LETS LOOK AT THE REAL PICTURE rather than AKA's shuttered little faux pretend world.

The tired, phony feminist arguments are being torn down for good reason, this being one of them.

A girl gone wild

Attention unquenched

Woke up in New Orleans

On Jackson Square

Pigeon shit park bench

Opened her bleary eyes

To the scent

Of an exotic

New stench

A man with a grocery store cart

Bussin' around his collection of aluminum cans

Saw wild girl

Took a whiff

And just flatfoot ran...

Extrapolating a bit

Men who defend upskirt photographers, as if they have some sort of constitutional freedom of expression right to the hidden parts of women's bodies, are actually cheering on that power and control factor.

These men fear that women are no longer as subject to men as they used to be, that women can compete with men for jobs and win, that women might fight back, that women have learned the legal system to protect themselves, that men no longer have a right to beat their wives, that guys can no longer easily get away with date rape, and that men (ala Warren Jeffs-types) no longer have the right to sexual access to the women in their families.

What they hate most of all: That a man can no longer, merely by providing material support to a woman, get automatic access to sex.

In other words, what they whine, whine, whine about is the loss of the power and control of men over women. That's why they hate feminists. That's why they like to lump all feminists into the same convenient category to attack. That's why they like to accuse even women who are not self-identified feminists as feminists so that they can attack any right asserted by women.

If you would like to know why I ignore Brightstar and Mr. E and others of their ilk most of the time, it is because I have heard all their crap before and BECAUSE I CAN.

Now, in the 21st century, women have the right to ignore men if they do choose and men cannot do a damned thing about it.
