You mean to say there are actual sites exclusively dedictated

To these stupid snatch shots?

AIR objectifies women

This is after all in response to the article which is about a trend that truly mortifies and objectifies women,

Life Itself objectifies women.

You think women never objectify men?

Let me make this simple...

At least for the perverts reading:

1 in 4 women have been sexually assaulted.

This means that at least 1 in 4 times, that's a free stabbing for anyone taking an upskirt shot. She can stab the shit out of you if she feels like it, and she will walk away free and clear because it'll be attributed to PSTD. Even if you're in a state where taking upskirt shots is not illegal.

I haven't been sexually assaulted, but I will stab you anyway.

I am planning to carry a spoon for this purpose so it hurts more, but in a pinch, I'm willing to stab you with whatever's handy. Thank you for letting me know you're planning on violating me if I wear a skirt, so I can be prepared.

If I end in jail? Don't care. I am not going to walk around in fear of men.

Privacy

I admit the law confuses me. I always thought I had an expectation of privacy for whatever my skirt concealed, unless, of course, standing over a grate a la Marilyn Monroe when you can reasonably expect whatever is under your skirt to be displayed (unless you take some corrective action) or splaying my legs when getting out of a limo.

Why bother to even put on a skirt? Is it not to preserve some privacy? Even a very short tight skirt, while tantalizing, provides some mystery and privacy. That is, in fact, the point, reveal a lot with a short skirt, but preserve just a bit to attract attention.

If you didn't want it private, then surely you would just prance down the street in a thong.

The very act of putting on a skirt declares your intention to have some things remain private.

@stackey dackey

I meant to cause you no pain

Just getting in the spirit

Of yanking each others chains

BTW of course you don't need a release to use a picture taken in public whether of a person, a crowd, or whatever

obviously you couldn't need one or it would be impossible to publish photos of crowds, etc.

Every guy gets hit with beaver shots nearly daily

women are constantly on show without meaning to be. they get in and out of cars, they sit awkwardly, on grass, or legs splayed.

I guess we men ought to poke our eyes out now.

All shields up!

@ Stackey Dacky: So yeah, what ya'll don't understand is that it doesn't matter what we wear. If you are a woman, between a certain age, and aren't deformed, (and even if you are) you have been on the receiving end of some sort of street harassment, nasty comments, up and to including sexual harrassment and physical intimidation. Look, I don't care if a guy looks at me. Looking is fine, but seriously, women have to put up with so much crap just walking around that it would be nice if they didn't have to worry that their granny panties were going to be on some pervy website. It may not seem like nothing to you, but it is to us.

This was from a while back.

There are 2 things I would add to this:

1) There are men who do these things to women for the secondary, if not primary reason of making that woman feel threatened or at least fractured. Perhaps it makes these men feel more powerful? Or perhaps it is like having a bad nicname is better than no nicname? Is it better to have some woman/girl react to the groping and/or vile comments with a look of loathing rather than not be noticed at all? These men do NOT care if it is bad behaviour because they are not looking at that woman/girl and seeing a human.

2) All you decent men out there who think women are stuck up bitches? If you approach us and we do not know you and we have been the recipiant of the loathsome behaviour in (1), we are going to look at you with suscipion. Blame your fellow menfolk and not the women, for creating a hostile enviroment. Women have no other choice but to keep shields up until you are better known.

As far as upshotting - what, are men no longer shining their shoes? Look the behaviour is boorish and poor even for the most immature 14 year old. If the men who are snapping the shots are 14 then the parents should be disciplining them, if they can't maybe juvie should be pulled in. Any male older than that? Charge them with Peeping Tom. 'Cause that is what they are.

@ Brightstar, who wrote:

"Oh, and I like flouncy bouncy skirts. Especially in wispy silk or acetate blends. someone mentioned utilikilts. that is like wearing a big old thick curtain. You think a guy can walk around oblivious like that on the street an NOT get fired pronto from his job (I mean in a flouncy skirt)?"

You'll get fired because of sexism as women are considered the inferior gender and all that they touch is tainted. You and your flouncy skirts are the proof of sexism. You've done well today, Brightstar!

Women like to rip into men because men look at women

I read this article somewhere the other day and it floored me.

Did you realize that women have BETTER peripheral vision than men?

This means, even is she is not looking at you, she is capable of checking you out. MUCH more capable than you are as a male, analyzing the detail in your peripheral field of vision at this moment.

SO, when a woman admonishes men for checking her out, she in not saying, "quit objectifying me". She is really saying, "I have the power to observe [objectify] you and you do not and I will punish you for being inferior to me in this way, (and because you do not know this power, it is mine and I will abuse it and use it against you)".

MEN, this is how women approach ALL aspects of dealings with the men around them, this being just one indication of the approach they take. they approach all their dealings with men in the worst, most cynical way possible.

So, since men are APPARENTLY much more magnanimous towards women in general than are women towards men, how do you men feel about these abuses women perpetrate on us men?

How does it feel to be so hated as a gender that women always try to trick men or to gain some advantage over men, as unfair as it may be?

Really, I no longer feel any guilt over looking at some upskirt shots. We men STILL treat the women better than they treat us.
