I loved your joke too.
There's no presciption
Until you're in that situation
Seriously, get a clue. "There is a reason why the jails are filled with men" Don't you know that crimes committed by females are among the fastest rising in our communities. There are hundreds of women's prisons, filled with -you guessed it! Women. Crimes committed by young females are rising so quickly it would make your head spin. I don't know what planet you live on, but here, in my part of town, the girls are the ones we watch out for. I work at a high school filled with some real dangerous beauties. Take it lightly at your own risk. I hear them talk. It would be fun for one of these girls, often returned from juvy or prison and back into high school, to have a go at you. You don't seem to have a real perspective on the female identity, there is more than one, I think this is what angers you, that you don't understand, and when you realize this, you retaliate by calling us "feminists" (yeah and I know what the quotes mean) yet how can you possibly know what a feminist means if you're a man(at least you say you are). All you do is antagonize, complain, and than accuse females of antagonizing and complaining. Don't get on this site and not expect some irritated chicks. This is after all in response to the article which is about a trend that truly mortifies and objectifies women, upskirting, yet you reflect from the truth of this and take it as yet another platform, your anonymous curtain, and shoot off your ignorant mouth. If you and I were sitting next to each other on a plane I'd bet anything that you'd be a nice quiet dude and I'd sit there looking out the window, not bothering your maleness, not biting at your damaged ego, or your "ahshamed female penis" or whatever you were blathering about. I'd just bet.
position would be a better rhyme to prescription than situation.
I emphasized several words in my reply but was not intending to be argumentative. Apologies if it seemed that way.
sounds echy
I understand if one is walking around in public you don't have a right to privacy and someone may take your photo. On the other hand, when that photo is used in a commerical way (i.e. and advertisement) the individual does have a right to restrain the use of their image.
Don't the up-skirt sites seek a profit in some way? Couldn't there be an argument that these up-skirt photos posted on the web are used in a commercial manner and therefore one would have the right to restrict (assuming you could figure out which one was you).
if it can be seen in public it is public, if it is covered by clothes it is not public. If you use technology to look through, or under, clothes you are committing a crime. If it is covered with clothes it is like being inside your house. If it is not covered you are outside. It isn't really very complicated.
You are no Good Celery.
(I may or may not be insulting you, btw)
I understand that men will look at women. Women look at men (which is what I was getting at in my speedo post.)That's fine. But taking pictures up someones skirt and posting it on the internet is fucked up. It doesn't matter if it is on a public street or not, or if its illegal or not, its wrong.
I really don't think the men posting here want to defend the type of man who does things like that. I remember when I was twelve, this homeless guy was bothering my friend and I tried to get her on the bus so we could get home. She got on the bus in front of me and the guy grabbed my ass and gave me this look like, bitch you got out of hand and now I'm putting you in your place. But it was seriously a chilling look. I can barely remember what my 7th grade Drama teacher looks like but I'll never forget that asshole.
I think the guys who take pictures up girls skirts and then proceed to post them on a website are putting women in their place, especially if they post the woman's face as well; maybe getting back at all of the women who won't let them look up their dresses by shaming these anonymous women. I mean, if they were just garden variety "perverts" they'd just keep the pictures in their camera phone. Or trade them with with other upskirt peeper club on yahoo groups.
Do what works for you. You know your turf and your talents.
I never carried a gun. Someone would have taken it from me and shot me or someone else.
And I no longer do that work: too old. Too slow.
Your e-buddy,
Bigguns
there is hope. what do I mean?
I recently found out that what makes women MOST nervous about men is the women not knowing where a man stands on issues.
I tested out this conceit, quite by accident, soon after I broke up with my fiance and was saddened and told my new female roommate how women do not know what love and shared sacrifice is. I told her I thought feminism had screwed up young women. Oh, she protested, flogging the usual 70 cents on the dollar crap. I told her I could put her under the table when it came to who knows more about feminism (and I can. and I would).
Well, I was given a new perspective on this principal of a woman knowing where a guy stood and thus trusting him. This girl-- smart, beautiful, kind-- is so much nicer and kinder to me than I am used to from that caliber of woman. We have become friends and she dangles an interest in possibly dating me, though we are hours apart and I have made it clear I do not seek anything.
SO, things are so often counterintuitive in life. If you were sitting next to me on a plane, yes, for sure, I used to be the quiet nice chap. Today, I am not so sure. It is a new freedom I need to explore, this idea that a man can expose his deepest doubts when it comes to men, women and gender and to have her look at you and think, "gee, I can trust this guy, unlike bozo back there on the last flight, who seemed, vaguely, to be dangerous."
Anyway, what were you saying?
Oh, and I like flouncy bouncy skirts. Especially in wispy silk or acetate blends. someone mentioned utilikilts. that is like wearing a big old thick curtain. You think a guy can walk around oblivious like that on the street an NOT get fired pronto from his job (I mean in a flouncy skirt)? Well, so much for that feminist conceit that men will have more freedoms in society.
