Porn in a flash

A troubling surge in creepy "upskirt" photography has lawmakers in a twist -- and the body parts of women posted all over the Internet.

The letters thread is now closed.

Every guy gets hit with beaver shots nearly daily

women are constantly on show without meaning to be. they get in and out of cars, they sit awkwardly, on grass, or legs splayed.

I guess we men ought to poke our eyes out now.

BTW of course you don't need a release to use a picture taken in public whether of a person, a crowd, or whatever

obviously you couldn't need one or it would be impossible to publish photos of crowds, etc.

Privacy

I admit the law confuses me. I always thought I had an expectation of privacy for whatever my skirt concealed, unless, of course, standing over a grate a la Marilyn Monroe when you can reasonably expect whatever is under your skirt to be displayed (unless you take some corrective action) or splaying my legs when getting out of a limo.

Why bother to even put on a skirt? Is it not to preserve some privacy? Even a very short tight skirt, while tantalizing, provides some mystery and privacy. That is, in fact, the point, reveal a lot with a short skirt, but preserve just a bit to attract attention.

If you didn't want it private, then surely you would just prance down the street in a thong.

The very act of putting on a skirt declares your intention to have some things remain private.

Let me make this simple...

At least for the perverts reading:

1 in 4 women have been sexually assaulted.

This means that at least 1 in 4 times, that's a free stabbing for anyone taking an upskirt shot. She can stab the shit out of you if she feels like it, and she will walk away free and clear because it'll be attributed to PSTD. Even if you're in a state where taking upskirt shots is not illegal.

I haven't been sexually assaulted, but I will stab you anyway.

I am planning to carry a spoon for this purpose so it hurts more, but in a pinch, I'm willing to stab you with whatever's handy. Thank you for letting me know you're planning on violating me if I wear a skirt, so I can be prepared.

If I end in jail? Don't care. I am not going to walk around in fear of men.

AIR objectifies women

This is after all in response to the article which is about a trend that truly mortifies and objectifies women,

Life Itself objectifies women.

You think women never objectify men?

You mean to say there are actual sites exclusively dedictated

To these stupid snatch shots?

Elizzy bec

there is hope. what do I mean?

I recently found out that what makes women MOST nervous about men is the women not knowing where a man stands on issues.

I tested out this conceit, quite by accident, soon after I broke up with my fiance and was saddened and told my new female roommate how women do not know what love and shared sacrifice is. I told her I thought feminism had screwed up young women. Oh, she protested, flogging the usual 70 cents on the dollar crap. I told her I could put her under the table when it came to who knows more about feminism (and I can. and I would).

Well, I was given a new perspective on this principal of a woman knowing where a guy stood and thus trusting him. This girl-- smart, beautiful, kind-- is so much nicer and kinder to me than I am used to from that caliber of woman. We have become friends and she dangles an interest in possibly dating me, though we are hours apart and I have made it clear I do not seek anything.

SO, things are so often counterintuitive in life. If you were sitting next to me on a plane, yes, for sure, I used to be the quiet nice chap. Today, I am not so sure. It is a new freedom I need to explore, this idea that a man can expose his deepest doubts when it comes to men, women and gender and to have her look at you and think, "gee, I can trust this guy, unlike bozo back there on the last flight, who seemed, vaguely, to be dangerous."

Anyway, what were you saying?

Oh, and I like flouncy bouncy skirts. Especially in wispy silk or acetate blends. someone mentioned utilikilts. that is like wearing a big old thick curtain. You think a guy can walk around oblivious like that on the street an NOT get fired pronto from his job (I mean in a flouncy skirt)? Well, so much for that feminist conceit that men will have more freedoms in society.

Okay, AKA.

Do what works for you. You know your turf and your talents.

I never carried a gun. Someone would have taken it from me and shot me or someone else.

And I no longer do that work: too old. Too slow.

Your e-buddy,

Bigguns

Klytus

You are no Good Celery.

(I may or may not be insulting you, btw)

I understand that men will look at women. Women look at men (which is what I was getting at in my speedo post.)That's fine. But taking pictures up someones skirt and posting it on the internet is fucked up. It doesn't matter if it is on a public street or not, or if its illegal or not, its wrong.

I really don't think the men posting here want to defend the type of man who does things like that. I remember when I was twelve, this homeless guy was bothering my friend and I tried to get her on the bus so we could get home. She got on the bus in front of me and the guy grabbed my ass and gave me this look like, bitch you got out of hand and now I'm putting you in your place. But it was seriously a chilling look. I can barely remember what my 7th grade Drama teacher looks like but I'll never forget that asshole.

I think the guys who take pictures up girls skirts and then proceed to post them on a website are putting women in their place, especially if they post the woman's face as well; maybe getting back at all of the women who won't let them look up their dresses by shaming these anonymous women. I mean, if they were just garden variety "perverts" they'd just keep the pictures in their camera phone. Or trade them with with other upskirt peeper club on yahoo groups.
