Have any of you seen this?
OK, I'll admit that I haven't yet read all of the comments here, so maybe someone has already mentioned this, but just in case no one has... The other day I was looking for a T-shirt on the Cafe Press (liberal/left oriented) website, and was horrified to see that they had a number of Obama T-shirts with the saying "Bro's, not Ho's". I could not believe it. Being a strong feminist since 1970 or so -- actually earlier, since the '60's when I wasn't allowed to join Little League but my brother was, and I was better than him. This might seem like a digression, but I resent some younger women's lack of appreciation for how far things have really come, in some ways, yet when I see something like this, I have to wonder. Hillary was not my first choice as a candidate, much to my disappointment because I really wanted to get behind a woman candidate, but I just think she is too ruthless and "corparatist". I was originally for Edwards, but chose Obama in the caucus, not because I'm starry eyed about him but because I liked him than Clinton. When I see sh*t like this "Bro's not Ho's" T-shirt, though, I just want to crawl under a rock and stay there. I wonder how many they've sold.
