    Rethugs

The usual Salon.com people know the truth, but the 59 million red state voters who keep the Repugs in office have yet to learn that the Republican party is NOT the party of pro-life or family values.

Republicans don't give a shit for pro-life or family values. They care only in-so-far as they give lip service to get peoples votes. Republicans are nothing but money grubbing thugs.

Pro-life and family values cost money. And no Rethug will ever spend what they see as their money for families, children or womens issues. Women being the primary caretakers of children and the ones who preserve and pass societal values on to the next generation, the children.

One of the primary attackers of women is the Catholic religion, my religion but not me. As long as the Church forces and keeps women in third class status, that women have put up with for the last 2000yrs, our world will never move forward. Keeping half of the human species servile to men and children is error of the worst kind and totally damaging to ALL of society.

For those in physics, you will remember Lise Meitner and the fact that she got no recognition for her HUGE discoveries in physics. Those outside the world of physics have never heard of her but she is a prime example of what happens to women. Were the world able to tap into the abilities of women their is no telling what might have been accomplished by now.

Just remember the ERA and that paragon of Catholic stupidity, Phyllis Schlafly.

And finally the Pope is NOT, NOT, NOT infallible, even when speaking ex cathedra. ONLY God is infallible. No human can or will ever have that capability. The hypocrisy of the Catholics who think that, makes them guilty of the sin of PRIDE, as is the Pope himself for even thinking that he is in any way infallible. And yet most Catholics regard EVERYTHING he says as infallible, including all of the popes view points about women over the last 1900 years.

The Pope and especially all right wing Catholics better learn some HUMILITY, the virtue that must be practiced to overcome the sin of PRIDE, which is setting oneself or group as equal to God either in thought or deed.

Right wing Catholic Rethugs set themselves equal to God in both thought and deed because they judge others and then act upon those judgments by condemning everyone who is not THEM.

The corruption of the Republican party is the corruption of the Catholic Church. I'm sorry to have to say this about the Catholic Church but their enablement of the Repub party is not in the least pro-life, it is only pro-death for money and political power. Just look at what is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan, where are the pro life and family values.

Just think about the total lack of family values that allows corporations to market lead toys, no prenatal care, no health care for children, a poor education for children (ala NCLB)and the constant defunding of family and childrens services.

Why did we have Katrina, the levees and the Army Corps of Engineers were defunded by George W. Bush. Why did we and why do we have mine disasters. Bush defunded MSHA, curtaild their prosecution of flagrant mine violations and reduced penalties to almost nothing. None of the aforementioned is in any way pro-life or pro family.

Why do we have bridges collapsing, because the Bushco Rethugs will not spend taxpayer dollars, not their dollars, for infrastructure repair thus forcing communities to move to PRIVATIZE everything in America. They only want to spend tax dollars for corporate welfare and wealthy welfare; none of which is pro-life or pro-family.

And yet the 59 million people and families do only whats best for the Rethug party and not whats best for their families.

Demographers say that America is no longer one country. We are at least four separate countries and can show proof that we may well be as many as 15 different countries. America has been wedge issued into deep divisions which may never heal. The Rethug party has been able to get away with the trashing and bashing of America thanks to the never ending support of the two big right wing religions, fundie Catholicism and the evangelical fundies.

So let no parent ever believe that the Repub party or the corporatocracy is going to look out for their children. After all the people of Indiana just love Eli Lilly, the maker of Thimerasol(finally no longer being made)which contains mercury and which has been put in childrens vaccines since approx. 1932.

And do all the Indiana and other red state parents know that Bushco passed a law in his first term that totally protects Eli Lilly.

Having worked with children and parents I saw so many things that they suffered due to autism and poverty and complete lack of prenatal care that I know beyond a shadow of doubt that the Rethugs and their corporate friends can and will get away with anything, for the sake of money; familes and childrn be damned.

Pro-life and family values cost money. That is the covenant Americans share or used to share with each other, namely, their willingness to care for each other. But that is ever diminishing as GREED and lack of ETHICS prevail over all else.

Some red state voters better never talk to me about pro-life and family values, none of them know the meaning of the words, nor does the Pope or the right wing fundie Catholics in America.

As some economists have said(sorry can't site sources, just Google) no one whose income is less than 5 million a year should ever vote for the Repub party. That sounds high to me, but certainly no one whose income is less than 250,000 per year should ever vote Rethug and thus against their own children.
