Much has been written on the topic BSL.........................
my response is simple "When injustice passes into law resistance is a Duty" I look forward to the day SCUM like Kory Nelson and Michael Vick are behind bars.Like the Nuremberg trials.
BSL is HEINOUS and EVIL,and anyone promoting this Fascist law is EVIL.
Some stats
1)10 fatal dog attacks in the US per annum.
2)700 odd cyclists are killed on the road per annum
3)upward of 3000 drownings per annum in the US

Recently in Britain there were 3 foiled Terrorist attacks,8 suspects were arrested,all were Muslim and 6 were doctors therefore 100% of all Muslims are Terrorists and 75% of all doctors are Terrorists.

Like A Loaded Gun? Depends.
Let's face it: by themselves, pitbulls are just another breed of dog. They only get their bad rap because of the people who own, breed and/or train them to be bad or aggressive; that's when pitbulls become the equivalent of a loaded Glock pistol. By themselves, pitbulls can be just plain sweet and loveable.
However, take a look at the kinds of people who own those nasty and aggressive pitbulls: gangsta thugs, drug-dealer-types and general pain-in-the-ass neighbors. The ownership of a fierce dog somehow makes up for their failings as men: call it the dog-as-substitute-for-the-lack-of-a-penis syndrome.
I see the pictures of the pitbulls available at the local humane shelters...loveable faces, sweet dispositions and wagging tails. I couldn't, however, adopt one, bring it home and trust it not to turn on me or my family. Who knows what that poor dog has gone through prior to being offered for adoption. That's just a fact.
I do remember, though, when I was a child, I was nipped by aggressive dogs twice: once by a Collie and once by a friend's Yorkie. I was bitten by yuppie puppies with not a pitbull in sight!
That goes to show, I suppose, that Collies and Yorkies have better press-agents than pitbulls.

Fatal Dog Attack Statistics
• Unchain your dog. From 1965-2001 25% of all fatal attacks were inflicted by
chained dogs.
• While 25% of all fatal dog attacks (all breeds) are inflicted by chained dogs, 36%
of the fatalities caused by Pit Bulls involved the dog being chained.
• Never leave your child unattended with any pets. 79% of fatal dog attacks are
children under 12.
The age group with the highest number of fatalities was children under the
age of 1 year old; accounting for 19% of the deaths due to dog attack. Over
95% of these fatalities occurred when an infant was left unsupervised with a
dog(s).
The age group with the second-highest number of fatalities were 2-year-olds;
accounting for 11% of the fatalities due to dog attack. Over 87% of these fatalities
occurred when the 2-year-old child was left unsupervised with a
dog(s) or the child wandered off to the location of the dog(s).
• Overwhelmingly, the dogs involved in fatal dog attacks were unaltered males.
• From 2000-2001 there were 41 fatal dog attacks. Of these, 28 were attacks by a
single dog and 13 fatalities were caused by multiple dogs.
Of the 28 single dogs responsible for a fatal attack between 2000-2001;
26 were males and 2 were females. Of the 26 males, 21 were found to be
intact (the reproductive status of the remaining 5 males dogs could not be
determined).
• Of the 448 cases of fatal dog attacks from 1965 - 2002, there is NO documented
case where a single, neutered, American Pit Bull terrier was the cause of a human
fatality.
MALE DOGS MUST BE NEUTERED!!!
NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN ALONE W/ ANY DOG!!
NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOGS ROAM!!
Pit Bulls should be house dogs, not chained up outside where children or other dogs can get near them. Or where lowlifes will steal them & use them as bait dogs.
Mandatory training/education, mandatory neutering & hefty licensing fees to pay for it will go a long way to help promote dog safety.

The Dissing of a Breed
We adopted a lovely dog from a rescue league in January, a very sweet little girl recovering from heart worms. We were told she was a "boxer mix". On a trip out of town we saw a dog that looked very much like her, and asked the owner what it was. He said a "pure-breed pit bull" (sic).
I've slowly come to the realization that the gentle dog we fell in love with is this so-called vicious breed. I would never have considered her if I had known she was a "pit bull" based on their reputation; now - even though I may have been slightly deceived by the rescue league - I thank them for bringing this lovely, lovable girl into our lives.

Ban the human, not the dog
As I continue to learn the horrors these animals are put through from the time they enter this world- there is no wonder that hundreds more are not brutally attacked. To me, that is a testament to the fact the Pit Bulls, as well as other demonized breeds are truly there to please man. There is battered woman syndrome, where a woman finally breaks because of the violence she has been exposed for years. Animals are attacking for the same reason, can we blame them? As humans, we have a responsibility to these animals, and to society in general to stop this and get the cruel, evil breeders and dog fighters in jail where they belong. This blood sport is so closely linked to racketeering and to the drug world and gangs, there is no reason for us not to break this chain once and for all and get these menaces to society off the streets we walk every day.
